Although the only other one I have personally compared this one to was the Boss ODB-3 pedal, and the Boss Mega Distortion pedal for guitar... And I like the Boss' a lot as well.

As for me, it really depends on what qualifies as distortion vs overdrive or fuzz. My favorite dirt box is still the BJFE Blueberry.

My favorite of what I personally would consider distortion would probably be the Landmine or XXLB.

The XXLB, Bass Big Muff, and Supercollider. 2 of those are fuzzes, but who cares.

XXLB + VTB = Lots of Big. BBM would probably do it too.

Nice to see some Voodoobass love

It's not great on its own, but in a band setting it's SOOOOOO good for filling up the empty sonic gap that occurs when a guitarist takes a solo

I have too many, I'd say though it a toss up between the Devi Ever Cherry Pop and the HAO The Roar, both are quirky but I love the sounds of those suckers.

Exactly right ... it works well live and with my VT Bass prdal too.

There is one for sale on Ebay tonight and he lifted the picture right off the TB review ... I asked him if it was the actual picture of his Voodoo Bass pedal and he had the good sense to admit it was not. He said it was a "stock" picture ... it's not I took that photo of my pedal.

... BUSTED!
