Poly paint chip; reduce further chipping.

I have a Mexican Jaguar with a poly finish that I just found a sizable chip on the heel. I don’t want to try to repair it, but it’s slightly uncomfortable and I don’t want it to keep chipping. Would you guys sand down the hard edges or something else? Again, I’m not trying to fill it in/paint/repair it.

Some thin super glue in the area with no finish will stop it from spreading. Don't try to get it on the good surface, only put it where finish once was.

A matching color of nail polish or auto touch up paint can do a nice fill also.

What color is it?
