i've been GAS'ing for a Fender RW Jazz bass ever since it was announced... but never had enough money to actually buy one. is there anyone out there that can make a good cheap relic of a 60's style jazz bass?
this would include:
-60's relic'd tuners (I actually already have the tuners but it cannot be mounted on my current jazz bass so all i'd need is a neck that could fit the tuners...)

-relic'd body and hardware (in sunburst or fiesta red or white.. and it doesnt matter if it is painted in nitro or not)

-relic'd neck (i like dirty necks like on the back and on the fretboard)

-any cheap electronics (really doesn't matter, i'm going for aesthetics)

all of this in the price range of perhaps $450 give or take

so is there anyone out there who does this kind of cheap custom work? also i'm sure there are other people like me who are interested in a good cheap RW, so post your thoughts!!

oh and the cheaper, the better for me :P

but seriously, anyone else wish they could own a RW jazz or Precision at a smaller price and also pay a good TB'er for work?

possibly, but i have no clue how to do all the proper relic'ing. also, I dont know how to install my tuners into a headstock that does not have the proper mounting for my 60's tuners unless they are modified.
