Is anyone else having issues with popup adds on talkbass pages? These "extra shop" things pop up on every page, thread, forum etc.... I have done the opt out forever on these, and next thread/page BAM! my page is covered again, to the point that I can't read any posts. It's only happen on this sight- I hope this isn't something that's connected to this sight, because it renders it just about unusable!

Seems odd that this is the only sight that I'm having the issue with, despite the browser.
Well, I work in IT
Not too long ago Microsoft actually admitted {a first} that their Internet Exploder browser had some MAJOR vulnerability issues.
Again I suggest trying a different browser and report the results.
It is NOT this site as per se but it could be something between your browser and this or similar sites causing the problem.

I am having the same problems with popups.
I've written an E mail to talkbass and they told me much of the above suggestions, and it wasn't a problem on their part.
I've used malwarebytes, CCleaner to no avail.
An, yes, this site seems to get them more than any other site I go to.
I've also went downtown here in my little city and the gurus there said that the popups are a problem that is only getting bigger, and that the IOS people are not
amuned to this either.

#1 Always use Chrome - Never use Internet Explorer

#2 Install AdBlock for your browser.

#3 Check if some other toolbar has been installed on your browser. One could have been installed accidentally and you're not aware of it. Even if its disabled, its still active and could be serving the ads. Never....EVER install any third-party toolbar.
