Post Some Cool Pics You Shot

Decommissioned wing of Park Cities (Dallas) Water Utility District Waste Water Treatment Plant, built 1950.

Original sliding valve controls - 2nd pic - were used to electronically control hydraulic-cylinder-actuated slide gates. Controls were decommissioned and replaced with the computer screen control box mounted on top.

This wing is essentially a museum - everything was taken off-line when the slide gate control system was replaced with an IT-rack-mounted system in the early 2000's.

How cool is that.

…and yes, we get the occasional coyote on the street as well. The Amazon truck is always dropping off stuff from Acme.

Neighbor shot this pic in our previous Dallas neighborhood. Little guy waiting for his Amazon delivery.

One was caught on doorbell cam a couple doors down, porch-pirating a DoorDash delivery.

Coyotes are more common and seemingly better-fed in our current Fort Worth neighborhood. Neighbors say it's because we're atop a ravine-filled bluff and close to the West Fork Trinity River, but I think it's more to do with the higher number of Amazon deliveries of suspicious, generic-looking boxes.

At the time, my 3 and 6 year old boys went nuts over this fish head at the grocery store. We did not buy it lol. Even now my youngest still asks if we can go see the fish heads whenever we go to that store.

“Ewwwwww look at its eyeball!!! I wanna poke it!”
