Thread Drift: In the mid-to-late 1990s I freelanced as an audio engineer for the Amphitheater at the World Trade Center Boston -- 99.9% of whose gigs were corporate meetings for investment bankers, so not exactly a gig you brag about for street cred, but hey, a paycheck's a paycheck. Anyhow, me and the other guys on the Audio/Video crew had a routine there where, when it was time to head out of the A/V office to the Amphitheater for show time we'd fire up The Gap Band's "Party Train" and do that silly dance-walk strut that they do in the original video for that tune.
Ah, memories... Anyhow, back to the funk!
This album is definitely overlooked, as is "The One Giveth, the Count Taketh Away," which I believe came out in 1982.
"Baby Boy" - George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, from "The Night Before" soundtrack (1988). Unfortunately, this soundtrack is nowhere to be found
