I like that I have the tools I need for any sound, really, but I'm not over using them... I still rely on a clean tone and playing for a lot of sounds.
It makes a good multipurpose board too... I've used it with guitar, synth, etc. and gotten good sounds.

I've been messing around with LED lights lately and took some pics.

That is very slick. Would you mind sharing where you picked up the LED assemblies and switch? I'd love to implement something similar to this.

might get rid of the Devi Ever Silver Crank (not enough fuzz for me!) im pretty much done with getting pedals or anything else fancy. I dont gig, play in a band or try to do anything but enjoy music in all its aspects.

You're both correct; it's the Lyt24. I really like the board myself; it's simple and sturdy. Yeah, I could've built one myself and saved a couple of bucks, but I've been gigging so much lately I really didn't have the time or energy to want to build a board. I already soldered all the cables and the 3 channel looper (bought the RoadRage kit).

If there's one thing I thought was a con to the Lyt board, was that the case for the 24 is really just the one for the 32. They don't have a smaller case for it, so you get the bigger one which has about 8" or so of extra room. I'm putting cords in it, and that works, but it would be nice to have a real bag for it, with a front pocket.

I owned both the lyt 24 and the 32 in the past, and they really are nice boards! My complaints with them were little nitpicky things to be honest...but here they are.

The case he sells with the board is flimsy. It got smashed in our trailer within a month. That kinda sucked. He was cool about getting me a new case though. For what it is though, it's great for around town, and is fairly light.

My only other complaint was the height of the tier. Not a big deal, but I was using a power supply at the time that couldn't fit under there and still get plugged in. In all fairness, it's one of the only power supplies where the plug is on the top rather than one of the sides or something. Overall though, awesome boards IMO!

Not at all, the LED's I picked up at MicroCenter for around 6 or 7 dollars apiece, I think the brand was Logisis? They're made for computer case/accent lighting and are 12volt.
The switch I bought years ago from RadioShack. That one is just a 12volt automotive switch, but I think almost any kind of toggle switch will work.
The lights, the switch and some wire, it's pretty cheap as long as you don't mind losing a spot on your PedalPower for lights.
Oh and the 9volt/12volt switch on the pedalpower works like a dimmer switch.

I completely agree. For carrying the board to and from a gig, it'll work. But, I'd rather have a better bag for it.

No big deal; at my old job, I had one of our seamstresses make me some sweet heavy-duty yet light-weight amp cases for me. If I want something better, I'll just have her make something.

I'm so glad, after reading your post, that I went for the Voodoo Labs power instead of the Pedal Pad (that was the other contender, due to the AC out on it).

But all in all, I like the board. It works great. I'm assuming that it's just another phase of this "Effect Pedal Sickness" that I look at the board and think of pedals I want to switch out.

Here's my "rock-n-roll fantasy" setup, a.k.a. my stay at home foolin 'round pedalboard. Using my p-bass 'Blondie' into a JBL eon pa. I'll have photos of my simplistic live setup later.

Finalized this last night. Not likely to change anything, though I'm still searching for the perfect dirt pedal. Have to sift through a lotta mud to find dirt that polishes up into a crystal!

some facts about the pedalboard:

30"x15.75"

weight (excluding case + supplies):
32 lbs

Investment:
$2800

let that be a word of caution to those starting down the dangerous path of effects pedal addiction.

the cost alone of all those quality DiMarzio cords from MF:

that's a Barge VBjr blending the rust ride. Got tired of looking at the boring plain black sticker. Just didnt do my pedalboard justice, so I gave it the full DIY treatment with some pin-up decals.

Needed a pedal to turn up the sexyness

You should have done a little more DIY and added another LED next to the existing one. 5 points to whoever guesses where I am thinking they should be
