Last weekend at a local volunteer fire department fundraiser/picnic/beer and brat mass consumption event. Covered stage, but the bass player ended up being the only one in the sun for 4 hours. It was HOT. I was cooked afterwards!

DFW here. Our 11-day weather forecast, below.
We've had 33 100+ degree days so far this summer, with the current streak at 17 and running. Here, outdoor daytime gigs are dangerous and to be avoided even if they're in the shade.
Even outdoor evening gigs are a beating, especially in town.
Lol yeah - I figured I'd get called out
I'm north of GB and Door County, but central part of the state. Hot here is 90 degrees! I'd much rather play outdoors in 30 degree weather - and have done that more than a few times. Don't think I could live down there for anything! My sister and brother in law just moved back to Wisconsin from DFW (Keller) - and they do not miss it one bit.

Here’s some shots from our last gig. We are out of DFW area but invaded Austin to play Come And Take It Live. It was a blast!
Last Tuesday in Bayfield. Beautiful 90 degree day to hang out on Lake Superior but pop up rain showers forced the gig inside. The PA tech was so caught off guard by the showers he actually had everything set up outside and we all had to scramble to move things inside.
Rock it Rich. I had a mic stand can holder like that once thinking it was a good way to prevent spills. But leave it to me to bash it with my headstock which sent the can spinning around. So I not only spilled the soda in it but I spilled it in a 10ft circle.

Last Sunday afternoon at a local VFW in Scranton PA.
Friday night at The Sundance in Fort Collins, CO. Always a fun time, crowd was great.
Saturday we needed a last minute fill-in on drums, so I got to jam out with my 17yo

Food truck rally in Ann Arbor. We love doing community events like this. Really fun gig and a good crowd. We booked two additional events as a result.
Running sound and lights for wedding band in the Detroit suburbs. This band can really bring it...packed dance floor for three sets. Weddings are typically fun but grueling. Early load in and set up, wedding ceremony, cocktail jazz set, emcee dinner and formalities, and three dance sets til midnight.
