I love being in bands with chicks, too. There are some prejudices and stereotypes to overcome, but the pros typically outweigh the cons. Most male singers I've worked with or seen around locally don't have the pipes to do some of the popular music that people want to here. Girls can pull that stuff off a lot easier. And it doesn't hurt to have a cute girl doing the booking for your band when most bar owners/managers are male.

Me with Sibling Rivalry:

Gotta watch those prejudices and stereotypes!

Kind of my band...
I tour with these guys as foh engineer.
i'm triggering the loops for this performance, but i'm at foh.
Funny how they don't have a bass player, but neither has the last 2 other bands i've toured as foh for (blonde redhead, school of seven bells... they also have female vocals). Come to think of it, if any of the bands i've played bass with had vocals at all it was either me or a female vocalist. All of them were original bands.

Just started playing with a new band, first female fronted band I've been a part of in a while. I like being in bands with women, as taboo as a lot of rock peeps thing that is. Please share your experience, videos, and pics. :)

Brand spankin new video I did with them. The Happy Problem performing "Matador".

Well done! How are you liking the Big Al?

I've posted this one here a couple times, but this is me in the band I used to play in. This was recorded at CBGB back in 06 or 07.

Warning: lotsa bass face in this one.

Played with you guys once or twice (w The Nerve!) at CBs. :) I see your geetar guy in the gym all the time. ...actually, haven't seen him in few months. But none the less, great band.

Jazzdog, my Big Al has become my number 1, out of about 20. That bass smokes every other bass I own. It can do anything. And do it well.

I remember The Nerve!! It's funny, I've seen you post on here, and never put two and two together....cool stuff:) Thanks for the kind words, man. Had a lot of fun in that band for the 3+ years I was with them.
