I don't know who Lily Cole is. But she looks a LOT like my usual type.

My favorites, just for looking at tend to be pale red haired girls with heart shaped faces. She's a pretty perfect example. My hypothetical ideal woman would have a heart shaped face with big eyes and a wide expressive mouth, like Laci Green. If I were totally picking off of a menu, I'd hope for her to be physically substantial, like between Ashley Graham and London Andrews.

Other girls tend to supplant that type based on individual characteristics.

For example:

Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia) from Criminal Minds is not classically gorgeous. But Holy Crap is she adorable. I would be all about that.
Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciutto) from NCIS is similarly awesome.
Jenna Elfman is kind of perfectly described as not my type. I don't like real thin girls, or blonds, or short hair. So how is it that she's sexy as all get out, even though she's a thin, short haired, blond?
Karen Gillan and Jenna Coleman are both absolutely perfect in their individual ways.
Christina Hendricks is pretty perfectly my type. I think she's the most attractive woman on TV.
Deborah Ann Woll is spectacular. That hair. Those eyes. Wow. She is VERY easy to look at.
Molly Quinn from Castle is also perfectly my type, except that she's just a few weeks older than my daughter. Whenever I notice how beautiful she is, I feel creepy.
Linda Cardellini and Shannon Elizabeth are both pretty wonderful examples, but it's hard to say why they're so attractive specifically, because every role they play, they look completely different.

Laurel Coppock the Toyota commercial babe.

That redhead from the Wendy's commercials.

Her name is Morgan Smith Goodwin. And yes. She's incredible.

That's not Milana Vayntrub, although they share some rather, uh, fine attributes. Lily came the sports-thread goddess on Fark due to me and one other person, so I've done plenty of research about her. This is certainly her:

I like a few women who we mostly only know from commercials.

Never an actual crush of mine, but I thought Sarah Jessica Parker was adorable in "Honeymoon in Vegas":

And in "L.A Story":

The early '90s were probably her peak physically; she hasn't really aged too well IMO.

Wow, Bard, you and I are apparently much on the same wavelength.

Yes! To me, cute is far more sexy than model-type striking beauty, and she's got it in spades. I also prefer curvy girls in general.
Karen Gillan and Jenna Coleman are both absolutely perfect in their individual ways.
Yep.

A thousand times this!
Molly Quinn from Castle is also perfectly my type, except that she's just a few weeks older than my daughter. Whenever I notice how beautiful she is, I feel creepy.
I had to look it up, she was born in 1993 (currently she's 22). But I haven't watched Castle in awhile and I definitely remember feeling bad about finding her attractive - I have a teenage daughter myself.
Linda Cardellini and Shannon Elizabeth are both pretty wonderful examples, but it's hard to say why they're so attractive specifically, because every role they play, they look completely different.
God, I had such a huge thing for Linda Cardellini when she was on ER, and I about fainted when she turned up in Scooby Doo...

My longest-standing celebrity crush is probably Dana Delany though. Even now.

Is it bad to say that I've never really had a celebrity crush? I've just never given it enough thought. I'm honestly not too obsessive or picky in person either about women. I'm just a sucker for a cute smile I guess. Also, I can be kind of a pig about it too, when I look there is no subtlety, so often I just try not to look.

Mandy Moore. She's only gotten hotter since she was famous.

It's funny how she, Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan were all Disney-style "America's sweethearts" around the same time. They eventually went in very different directions.

Before all the mess, Lindsay really was a naturally pretty girl:

Yeah. We ARE on pretty similar wavelengths. And I really like Dana Delany, as well.

You've put together quite a list there. I'm impressed.
