There's a tv adaptation of From Dusk till Dawn. Cheesy with awful dialogue and acting but I like it. The Selma Hayek character is played by Eiza Gonzalez. She's kinda amazing.

Many examples here that are fit to get a crush on.

But I'll mention 3 lady's that impressed me one way or another.

Carice van Houten, I ended up having a chat with her at the bar of her former school, where our drummer had his wedding. She was still a beginning actress then, very friendly girl.

Monica Bellucci, sort of a chance meeting, while watching a band in an Italian beach venue where a friend had taken me. We ended up chatting about music, among other things. Genuinely liked her.

Sandra Bullock because she somehow gets under my skin in a way that makes her appear in dreams.
Also not believing my eyes when she walked passed while I returned home from going to the baker.

With the last 2 I have age in common.

Edit: Cycling and listening music on shuffle brought up Powderfinger covered by Cowboy Junkies.
The song triggered a memory of the crush I had on Margo Timmins after seeing her perform with Cowboy Junkies in Paradiso.
It made me make a fool of myself by waiting for her at the artist exit. Got to chat with the band members,
and a few sentences with Margo. I felt a ridiculous after that, wanted to hide and forget about it.

Holy hell I don't know how I forgot:

1. Have always loved seeing Laura Prepon in damn near anything (That 70s Show, OITNB, etc), and no matter what color her hair is at the time...

2. Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak on Arrow and Flash) - She's just... wow.

I had a short-lived crush on the '90s Janeane Garofalo:

I thought she was really cute and a little quirky (loved her smile!). Since then, she's become too weird and blasé for my tastes. It's like she tries too hard to look like an outsider, and it just seems forced to me. I miss the old Janeane, but hey...whatever works for her.

I loved that too cool for the room heavy eye liner non conformist Lilith Fair maaaaan attitude and look that a lot of 90s girls had.

I feel like Ellen Page was the 2000s version of that.

Of all the gals I've mentioned to my friends and brother SHE gives me the most grief. What can I say? She's funny, cute and smart. That is an unbeatable combination. I may not agree with her world view completely but that doesn't stop my appreciation at all :) My brother, a few weeks ago, gave me crap out of the blue about her. I chuckled.

I know Uma Thurman is supposed to be the beautiful, sexy one, but while watching "The Truth About Cats and Dogs," I couldn't take my eyes off Janeane!

Interesting about your brother giving you "crap out of the blue about her." It sounds like he might have a secret thing for her himself.:eyebrow:;):D

No, he hates her because of her political leanings. He's a very odd duck that way. Uma ... now I don't find her horrid but man her feet ... her FEET! :vomit: When she is talking to her feet in Kill Bill . . . .:crying::banghead:o_O:bawl:

I know what you mean about the "Kill Bill" scene...there are graphic moments in horror movies that don't make me cringe as much!
