Not only, not currenty in production. But that remake was not even close. The original had Bill Lawrence pickups and the varitone switching. The last regurgitation Gibson came up with had very generic P/J setup. meh.

Ed Roman is basically the entire cast of the Jersey Shore as far as guitar stuff goes.

I'd forgotten about his pathetic attempt at a copy. I didn't label anything because plenty of others haven't; was just showing the body style. If you hate the style, don't worry, little danger of encountering it in the wild. If you like the style, sorry. You'll need a good amount of coin and even more luck.

I just bought one of these--sounds so good nice thick neck and check out that genies foot headstock--awesome. Ibanez made some really great stuff in the 80s MIJ era....so different than the modern Ibanez which are great too but mostly slim necks and such. Cool thread!

Ed Roman is basically the entire cast of the Jersey Shore as far as guitar stuff goes.

It seems the only reason Roman has such an extensive stock is because he doesn't know how to sell guitars. He talks big but basically most of the guitar/bass world has nothing good to say about him, his luthiery skills, his front-of-house etiquette (pay to come in my shop, don't touch unless you buy), his pricing regime or his ability to re-top cheap guitars and flog them as more expensive models.
