There are some really cool photos in this thread. My coolest was when Albert Lee came to my studio and sat in on one of my band practices. I was playing guitar back in those days.

I'll go with this one, 'cause it was my very first gig ever and it's literally the ONLY photo I have of me playing a gig....ever.

With my middle kid (the one that got me playing regularly again) after my role as Ranger Merman at the Volunteer Appreciation Event for the Santa Cruz District of California State Parks in August 2019, back when I still ranged in the @kesslari neck of the woods. I had green dust in my strap and pickups for months
I'd have done it forever, but COVID had other plans for my family (none of our household have caught it yet, but that didn't protect my partner from job loss). After a year of ducking out of the paid workforce to get my kids situated, I will start ranging libraries in Southern Oregon. We'll see how much I get to dress up and perform

Not sure about favorite, but this is the best I can find at the moment. Halloween gig (obviously), shortly after Lou Reed's death in 2013 (hence our singer's "costume").
The one I really wanted to find was the pic of the gig at which I couldn't find parking downtown for 45 minutes, so the band started without me.

87 with Mayhem @ Park Place , Aiken SC...man those were Dammmmmm good times!!
Jubilee Jam, Jackson MS, 1990. That's a much younger me on the right with the red Strat (I was a guitarist in my previous live). Our band went on between Steppenwolf and Three Dog Night so we had a massive crowd. I was just holding on for dear life and praying that I wouldn't screw up in front of that many people. It was probably the most memorable gig I ever played, mostly because of the crowd factor. Sadly, the bass player in this photo passed away a few years ago. He was a great guy and a heck of a bassist.
