Grim Fandango had some fine, moody cuts. Way before that, Castlevania - almost prog, in a beepy way. And the sad tune that played on the boss level of the original Wolfenstein was memorable.

I remember hearing this song from a game I played on a website. I think it was newgrounds and the game was mario with a shotgun shooting goombas. pretty cool cover. I've always enjoyed powerglove's cover of korobiniki(a.k.a the tetris theme song).

That's pretty cool. I remember I found a clip of an ocarina of time cover using samples from the seinfeld theme music. I thought it was pretty funny and creative.
