On a recent gig at Ulaanbaatar’s ‘Big Yurt’ Center in Outer Mongolia, pklima discovered that head coverings made with untreated Yak leather was devastatingly effective in attracting the local female talent to an otherwise unnoticed Double Bassist.

Last night's gig:

Sleeq, started the first garage band back in 66 here he is just before beginning rush to the hospital with the rest of the band when they decided to start the car and used the headlights as stage lighting! A good example of what not to do, when you are a garage band

Evilundead and his band thought they could do it on the cheap with their light show however they found not only wasn't the light strong enough to light up part of the back wall but, none of them could see what they were playing and that night the phase "train wreak" was first coined when talking about a gig that went bad

BTW -that is not the worst place I have played - by FAR! Maybe we should start a similar thread on the worst dives we have played in - it would make for some AMAZING pics!
