"BECAUSE ON TALKBASS EVERYONE COMPLAINS ABOUT BASS PLAYERS GOING UN NOTICED" JOE WANTED TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE SAW HIM WHEN HIS BAND PLAYED SO HE WENT TO RT SLINGER'S YARD SALE AND PICKUP SOME OF HIS OLD STAGE GEAR. Floyd and the guys thought it would cool to ride over on the back of the trailer but, it was kind of dangerous!
In order to keep their footing they had to keep their legs pretty far apart as a extra measure of safety the guitard thought they should Crazy glue their feet in place till they got to the gig location and they could get down and do the show on the stage that was setup.
Problem was they couldnt get unstuck from the truck!
Floyd needed a gig as a bass player but, he couldn’t get an audition with any of the local groups so he really couldn’t show them how good he could play!
So Floyd being a creative guy rented a flat bed and set up in the Guitar Center parking lot playing to all of the musicians he could. But the only thing Floyd got for his troubles
was 90 days for trespassing, 100.00 fine for noise pollution, a 500.00 fine for harassment, Two tickets one for driving a tractor trailer without a CDL, and the other for parking a commercial vehicle in a residential parking space, 1000.00 fine for resisting arrest and lastly 200.00 fine for public indecency for being in a public place without a shirt. Not to mention his bass and rig were confiscated as evidence when he tried to hold off the police by swinging wildly at them before he was tasered and taken into custody. Next time Floyd is going to stick to Craigslist.
