I know there was a recent thread in which I basically said that I refused to take on another crappy food service job,...but the impression that I get at Mizuna is that it's not just another crappy job. The head chef has been there for 6 years and the restaurant is well established and well respected,....which means the onus of professionalism falls on me.

The owner was there and hopefully that means that he is there to nurture his business.

A new set of challenges awaits and I'm very very excited. :hyper:

The thing I'm really excited about is this will give me the capital I need to get moving forward on my small business. I can now afford to buy tools and parts, a screen printing setup, a powder coating setup, pay to ship my products. This is a definite step in the right direction and probably the first time I've had a for real goal to shoot for.

I'm ready to get off my butt and start working hard again. I start Monday. And I get "weekends" (Thursday and Friday off), none of this split weekend crap.

I bought a new bass last night.
I've been able to pay $2700.00 extra on my mortgage since moving in in April of this year.
I squatted 405lb and deadlifted 455lb this past Sunday, a huge breakthough for me.
I have an awesome job.
I have an awesome house.
My wife loves me and I love her.
