Basic idea for my left shoulder. Not married to teh colors, but that's the general idea.

the text is 'The Lord my God' (Adonai Elohai) in hebrew, Jesus Christ in Greek, and Holy Spirit in Latin..

on the hebrew and greek, I know I'm right on, but if anyone (Major Metal) knows latin better than this protestant I'd greatly appreciate it if it was corrected before I have my boy in SLO ink me...

Hey everyone

So, Saturday, I am getting my tattoo, and suddenly, i feel second thoughts.

I have had the thought to get two bass clefs, with one reversed, forming the heart. Similar to the one on the first or second page of this thread.

Would you all consider that still fairly unique? Im getting mine much smaller that the one in this thread, maybe 2-3 inches square. It is either going high on my pectoral/chest, on my shoulder blade, or high on my arm. Which do you think would be the best for this idea?

Like many other times ive asked, im willing to get the "its your body, your choice", but, i want other opionions too. Right now, its leaning heavily towards back and arm (I'm only 18, and dont want it to get to distorted as i get older).

Ill post pics on saturday, becuase that thing is going on me somewhere.

I would HIGHLY suggest waiting for a few months before you get anything done, enim. I had a TON of ridiculous ideas for tattoos when I was 18 and 19. I finally settled on something when I was 20, and just started getting the piece done now that I'm 21. Granted, I'm still a lot younger than a lot of the guys on here, but that was still a three YEAR waiting period between when I first really started thinking about getting a tattoo, and when I actually started getting it.

I've had this idea for like, almost a year and a half. Its only one of two that I have. Ive been really happy with the design for a while now, and ive finally got the balls (and the money) to get it done right.

I had a solid idea for about 5 years. Then I realized it was pretty weak. That was two years ago.

Remember, these are for life.

Yeah you got it right ! Should make for a great tattoo :)

How much would one cost say from your wrist up to your elbow? I'm thinking about getting one done. Just some religious imagery and positive images to represent my outlook on things.

I know it sounds corny, but it's just my preference.
