Ok, I joined "the club" about a month ago....

I dont have a picture, however.... yet. What I had done is:
An Ashtray, sitting on top of a lung.... bleeding tar down over onto the lung. It on my left pec area.

It's not really anti-smoking statement... but more of a commoration of the damage it inflicted on both my parents. I'm trying to think of something similar to go on my left pec, involving alcohol.

BTW, Dave... that's gonna look sick when its done dude!

Oh, and Nino.... I wouldn't call it "pain"... Think of it as, about twice as bad as a rug-burn, that last for 3 hours.

I know. My brother starting saying "I only want one" and so did a freind that I used to work with now they have tats all over.

I've had my dentist call my wife at work to come and get me because I fainted from a novacane (sp?) shot.

When I got a wisdom tooth out, I again, fainted when the dentist was putting me out. He told me he was glad I fainted cause I was struggling. HAHA

I am a total needle wuss when it comes to injections (and have similar passing out stories).

And here I thought I was the only one that had that problem. Struggled with severe light headedness just to get my ears peirced.
and yet I've been severly bitten by dogs, mangled by sharp rocks from a misjudged leap of faith while hiking, and kissed by more cactus's then I care to remember. Felt fine from all that, but show me a needle and it's lights out.:hiding:

Still, I want a tattoo. I want to get Tibetan mantra "Asato Ma Sad Gamaya":

Asato Ma Sad Gamaya
Tamaso Ma Jyotir Gamaya
Mrityor Ma Amritam Gamaya
Om Shanthi Shanthi Shanthi

Which very loosely translates to:

Lead me: From untruth to truth;
From darkness to light;
From death to immortality
Om peace peace peace

Problem is, I've yet to even come across confirmation of correct spelling to the mantra let alone it properly written out in Sanskrit.

After many months of waiting I finally have mine done:

Sorry for the crappy pic; it's from my cell phone. I've had 7 more hours in in the since last Tuesday (4 then and 3 more today). I lost the cable to connect my Canon to my computer, and I don't have an SD card reader. Better pic coming soon, this was also taken in the mirror:

It looks a lot better in person!

Better, outdated pic for scale reference:

Just got back from a few hours of coloring the wheat on my leg! Should be done that one now, so its time to relax with a bourbon for a few hours until its time for aftercare...

Anyone else with new stuff?
