I recently went through some big changes with my 31 bass uke/mini bass guitar collection. With nerve damage to my neck from radiation treatments for cancer many years ago, I decided to keep only the 21" scale piezo that are most comfortable to play and use only Kala/Galli flatwound nylon strings. A custom solid wood walnut acoustic made by Bruce Wei in Vietnam, and 5 Hadean violin Hofner style (3 are in the process of being modified). The others that I've let go, I purposely found different bodies from each other, but because the Hadean bass ukes are so comfortable to play, I'm just changing their finishes.

My pair of G&L USA L2500s:

I bought the Blueburst-on-ash one first, factory-standard stock new off the wall at Bass San Diego in 2013.

Two years later I still liked it well enough that I ordered a second in Old-School Sunburst on Alder, K-wiring, and a light-tint gloss neck. In sound and feel they are subtly different, but I like both of them equally well.
