Post your old/stupid band pics!! (the more embarrassing the better)

WOAH! You play a Chapman Stick??? Man, I've always wanted to try one of those! The pic qualifies on old only. That Stick cranked the "cool factor" way up. :)

"Play" is a subjective term. Own is a better one. I really wish I had put the bass under the bed for a few years and concentrated on it instead. I take more of a "Tony Levin" type approach, though NOWHERE near the level he is. In the process of digging it out and applying it to some of the tunes we're doing now, plus getting ready to do some recording with some guys I wrote with in the '90's.

Does one of the band members explode during the set, or is there some sort of Gallagher-esque interlude?

Why the need for the garbage bags?

;)

That would have been good comic relief for an interlude. Prog stuff, I chuckle now when I listen to some of it now.

The garbage bags were the club's decor, I think there used to be a parachute there before the bags. On a side note, my band during the '90's used to hang crumpled paper as a backdrop that we all took part in graffitti painting. End of the show we'd tear it down and throw it at the audience while hacking our way through either Kiss or the Sex Pistols. Must have some pics of that somewhere.

I want to participate.... that is if i can do it (i'm really new to this posting thing:confused: )

I can't believe I just scanned this picture. This is from the Midwestern Music Camp in Lawrence, KS in 1993. I didn't know how to read bass clef yet and naturally, they told me that if I wanted to audition on bass I had to learn how....and fast! They gave me an extra day to prepare and somehow I was able to learn just enough to get into the bottom jazz band.
Check me out. What a dork.
That's my first bass, a Peavey B-Ninety and my Peavey combo on top of the Crate.
