The Phase 90 is my favorite go to phase, but it does loose a little on the lows. I picked up the used small stone and it seems to retain more low end for some stuff. Still I like the 90 better.

Could you compare them in terms of sound?

I just made a slight change to my pedal setup ... I added a flanger ...

This is my setup ... I split the signal 4 ways and run the effects in parallel and recombine them into one signal. I mix clean and dirty signals together.

Yes, I'm a fuzz adict...The fuzz-wah combination gets a gret Rage tone. I recently discovered a few cheap (in price, not quality) pedals (chorus, flanger) in my local electronics store, so this setup may change soon. The morley line selector switches between my two amps, a Fender 210 rumble, and an old 15 watt, the only reason I still have the 15 watt is because it produces a nice overdrive.

Comparisions are so subjective, but IMO in my setup:
Small Stone = Darker Sound, little more lows
Phase 90 = Brighter Sound, little less lows
