Oh. My God.

i just stolded my friend's DD3. Delay into delay =AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

they're set to ALLLLMOST the same delay time, you actually don't notice until about 6-7 repeats after a staccato note, that it starts to modulate and all types of funky pitches come out completely unrelated to the note you played. And, it rings on for DAYS. I'm in love. Now if only his metal muff worked...

used to have a much bigger board but one by one pedals kept dropping off till i was left with this crap. looked around for a real pedalboard a few times and thought, "does this do any more than a piece of scrap wood?" oh sure, it would tidy up my cords, protect pedals, and give me a way to carry pedals that looks pro and save me from embarrassing my bandmates at loadins and outs, but in the end, i just came to the conclusion that they were basically fancy pieces of plywood that tidy up my cords, protect pedals, and give me a way to carry pedals that looks pro and save me from embarrassing my bandmates at loadins and outs, and i thought "f*** that...i'll just go buy a crack whore."

..... i think i want a Whammy 4 now. the mods that Molten Voltage offers make it kinda awesome. and i'm NOT trying to spend the money/time/effort on finding a Bass Whammy.

anybody used one with bass? low end loss?

i didn't find any low end loss with the one i had. however, it's closer to the micro pog in tone, only you can't play chords with it. i used it a handful of times onstage...it was great for a couple songs where i needed the low D. maybe slightly thinner than normal but not so bad it would drive you crazy. sold it because i had no real use for it, though. best pedal i ever owned that i couldn't find a real use for.

hur. i have a Pitch Factor. i should just sit down and sort that little bugger out. problem is that i always end up with a bunch of AWESOME stuff that i have no practical use for.

i just hate carrying around a separate exp pedal. and i'd have to take at least two things of my board to permanently mount one of 'ems. grrrrr.

..... gonna lists some stuff for sale as soon as i stop being a lazy a$$. the Pitch Factor will probably be on there.

my grrL leaves tomorrow. 'bout to go out to dinner as a Remember Why You Love Me Don't Cheat On Me When I'm Gone bonding exercise.

lol.... i've been told that the only reason i've been able to last 10 years with somebody is by marrying somebody who has English as a second language. the theory goes that she can just tune me out by switching over to Just Japanese in her head-meats.

I demo'ed one once, with a 'Ray. I didn't really like it...It is very similar to a POG, only I thought the Whammy had much more break-up-age, if that's even a term when it was at the toe. It seemed too squeal-y.

Thanks very much for the detailed reply. I am still GASing for the MWBD...budget and pedalboard real estate are always a problem. If I get another pedal, I'm going to have to move to a bigger PedalTrain. I just bought my PT JR w/hardcase a couple of months ago...it hasn't even left the house yet and I'm looking at getting a bigger one. Darn GAS.

I really liked the MWBD factory demo video; it sure seems like a useful pedal. I may sell my Bass Big Muff (not even on my board now) and use the proceeds towards a MWBD.

If you went with the Agro instead of the MWBDP I think the Classic Distortion Pro with Bass Mod would probably be more for you. To me the Multiwave is more akin to the EHX Bass Micro Synth. It's fuzzy but adds warblyness and filteryness and synthyness as well. In fact that's it's bread and butter. I got it cause it seemed more versatile than the Bass Micro Synth. The Multiwave has some decent distortions and I love the clean boost and EQ which turns this into an always on pedal for me, but the Classic Distortion is more traditional distortion/fuzz oriented.
