i'm jealous of Jimmy's board. effective, butt-ugly, but does The BIDness.

kinda like that older crack whore you KNOW you shouldn't push up on, she's only got 5 teeth, 3 in her mouth, 2 in her pocket... but it's something you'll regret till the end of your days if you don't hit it. 'cause she will ROCK YOUR WORLD.

jimmy's board is like a hot crack whore.

It hasn't changed and it's much more like a mild-mannered librarian than a crack whore, but why not re-post it? Tell me, how is it that we never get tired of looking at each other's boards? You'd think they were bewbs or something...:hyper:

hurrrr.... more like a grrL you'd find in an Amsterdam Brothel than a librarian.

cleaned up, with the right close you could take her out and show her off, but still gets dirty nasty when it's the right time.

good stuff!

What do you think of the Multiwave Bass Distortion? I take it that Proel pedal is used as an expression pedal You're one of the few folks here that have the Multi Bass Dist...most folks here are too fuzz-obsessed (fuzzosessed? :D) IMO. I almost got that pedal but got the Agro instead. I don't use a lot of distortion in my current playing, but the Agro fits in well when i need it. Very curious about the MBD. Thanks and nice board! :bassist:

No changes,...just a cell phone on stage picture so that it looks like I actually do something with my gear.

The Source Audio MWBDP is actually turning into an always on pedal set to clean boost and using the EQ to tailor my sound. I like it because I can actually get louder and for some reason not clip the preamp on my A00 GK MB2-500.

EDIT: This one is actually in focus.

Update! after some rearranging I fit my moog phase on my board without having to take anything off for space. I also changed out the FH Velcroar for my lastgasp art laboratories 八八式毛羽立歪機 SUPER OSCILLO FUZZ 88; The Velcroar although a great and killer fuzz wasn't working for the synth sounds due to it boosting my noise floor up a little too much, the SOF 88 does more and doesn't add sustain and is gated on some settings so I'm back to it.

How do you like the Echo Park? I've been debating on whether to get that or a DigiTech Hardwire Delay... Not sure which. I like the Line 6 Delay Modeller, and the fact that you can adjust the modulation, but I'm not sure which would sound better.

Well personally i just like the compact size of the echo park and the only reason i got the EP and not the digitech is because when i got the EP the digitech hardwire line wasn't around yet. However i've noticed the hardwire delay can do loops and the EP can't but i love the sound of the tape and analog delays using the switch on the EP and the trails switch which causes the delay to trail slowly off when the pedal is clicked off. Other than that it sounds amazing and i've been using the thing for the last 5 or more years now. IF you really want that loop feature for the hardwire than go for it, but thats the only advantage it has over the Echo park IMO.

I never use looping. I just really can't get anything with it musically. Looks like I'm going for the Echo Park then. :D

Trails, FTW.

If you went with the Agro instead of the MWBDP I think the Classic Distortion Pro with Bass Mod would probably be more for you. To me the Multiwave is more akin to the EHX Bass Micro Synth. It's fuzzy but adds warblyness and filteryness and synthyness as well. In fact that's it's bread and butter. I got it cause it seemed more versatile than the Bass Micro Synth. The Multiwave has some decent distortions and I love the clean boost and EQ which turns this into an always on pedal for me, but the Classic Distortion is more traditional distortion/fuzz oriented.
