Lemme tell you though, the last time I used it I got some of the craziest sounds i've ever heard. I don't even think I tried to get a regular ol "woooooooooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" sound because I was hypnotized.

Get it? Hypnotized, hypnotic flange... :hiding:

So I'm thinking of eventually adding a second board to my current rig.

Current Board/signal path:

Bass -> PedalworX Squeeze Factor -> Morely AB/Y

A -> Fender 6G15 Reverb -> Ampeg SVT-3 Pro -> Aggie GS 115
B -> BOSS TU-2 -> EHX Hot Tubes -> EHX Russian Muff (Re-issue) -> Dunlop Bass Crybaby 105Q -> EHX Russian Bassballs -> EHX USA Bassballs -> EHX USA Small Stone -> BOSS CEB-3 -> Morely Volume -> GK Backline 600 -> Backline 210 BLX

GAS set-up:
Consists of 2 Boards, the primary board as above, and a second board that is added on, whent he gig calls forit.

Main Board has: Custom AB pedal with Tuner Mute, BOSS TU-2, Squeeze Factor, AB/Y, Hot Tubes, Muff, Wah, Both Bassballs, Small Stone, and CEB-3. In addition, there will either be a paatcher-thingy, or a pair of Micro Looopers.

Second Board has: EHX POG, EHX Microbass Synth, Rocktron Hypnotic Flange, Some sort of delay, possibly a Rocktron banshee.

Signal path is as follows:

Basses -> Custom AB pedal with Tuner Mute

Tuner Mute -> BOSS TU-2

Output -> PedalworX Squeeze Factor -> Morely AB/Y

A -> Fender 6G15 Reverb -> Ampeg SVT-3 Pro -> Aggie GS 115
B -> Loooper 1 -> EHX Hot Tubes -> EHX Russian Muff (Re-issue) -> Dunlop Bass Crybaby 105Q -> EHX Russian Bassballs -> EHX USA Bassballs -> Loooper 2-> EHX USA Small Stone -> BOSS CEB-3 -> GK Backline 600 -> Backline 210 BLX

Loooper 1 send -> EHX POG -> Microbass Synth -> Delay -> return
Loooper 2 send -> Flange -> Talkbox -> return

Of course, this is all off the top of my head. The whole point of using the looopers or paatchers is to have insert points in the middle of the signal chain.

What do people think? I have no idea on a delay pedal right now. I'm leaning towards either a short timer, or a DD-3. I need to check them out and see what I will use.

I think I need to show this post to my wife so she can realize I am not even in the top 10% of gear or pedal geeks. Thanks man!

I'm finally on the way to getting my board together, I'll post shots of what I have soon but in the meantime it goes like this:

Ibanez PD7 --> Morley Classic Wah --> Morley Little Aligator --> Zoom 505II

When I'm done it will most likely look like this (although I may tweak it as I go):

Boss SYB-5 --> Digitech Whammy --> Ibanez PD-7 - Boss NS-2 (--> Ibanez PD-7 --> Morley Classic Wah -->) Morley Little Aligator --> Boss TR-2 --> Ibanez CF-7 --> Line 6 Echo Park

Along with a Jamman for playing samples.

I absolutely believe that statement. The Black Cat Moan is the best wah pedal I have ever heard. IMO, it beats the crap out of the Dunlops and Morleys I have tried. I'd like to compare it to some "boutique" wahs, though. I am guessing that it should hold its own, and the best part is that it costs less than $100.00. Also, the clips I've heard of their other pedals sound great. The only one I'm not too crazy about is the Hypnotic Flange. I had one for a while but never really fell in love. I was looking for a more traditional flanger and the Rocktron is certainly not traditional. It was great at making crazy soundscapes, though.

Heres my latest arrangement

The 00Funk, the bass synth wah, and the Trace compressor are in the front of the preamp. Everything else is in loop.

The only good thing about the 00Funk, is it controles line level and line level of things behind it. Wich comes in handy.

the only time that 00Funk pedal sounded good, was in the loop of an OLD SWR baby blue head. Are the newer ones any better ?

Uh... WOW. that's the only appropriate answer to that picture.

Also... my Digiverb seems to be going through batteries like there's no tomorrow (like, every hour or two). Is there something wrong with it or is it just asking for an external source? I'm buying a Godlyke soon (can't find the 1-spot locally).

HAHA .. yes.. it is quite a set-up, but in my worship band, I also double as our synth player right now.. I tell ya.. Big Muff + Phase or BassBalls ads some nice texture through that second amp..
