First off, sorry again for the terrible image quality, but it should give you an idea.

Recently added: Boss DD-3. Picked a used one, pretty beaten up but still sounds great :) The day I brought it home I composed a song with it--this thing has got to be one of the most useful in my collection so far.

I also have finally brought back my Boss ODB-3. Right now I'm using it as an EQ to bring in some extra low end after the Rat, along with a slight boost and drive. Sounds pretty good.

The only other thing that I can think of that I want is the new Boss RC-2, looks like a pretty useful pedal to me. After that, my board should be done... I'm looking forward to that. But I also need a few more patch cables and a power supply (or two!) so I can run all this stuff, and then a board to fit it on... Right now I only can run 3-4 of these at a time (usually Distortion > Wah > Whammy > Delay), so it'd be nice not having to swap power cords all the time.

Thats the way a music room should look - a couple of basses and crap everywhere :)

Anyway, you must be able to get some freaky sounds with the talker and the whammy in series?

the A/B box in the upper right i use as a tuner mute to go to a Peterson Strobostomp...everything else on there is pretty self explanatory

Your board looks great. Very Timmy C. I remember saying that last time you posted your board, but it looks alot tidier and everything now, good job. I especially like the Blue LED in the Dunlop Brick.

How do you find the Guv'Nor? I had one, but thought it lost a bit of low end.

haha, my DC brick came w/ the blue led already in it brand new, which i wasnt expecting...the guvnor i absolutely love...im not too worried about low end cuz i have a strong clean signal running all the time, but, i actually get a bit of a low-mid boost when the guvnor gets kicked in (the bass and mid knobs r cranked as u can see in the picture)...i tried it in a mono rig w/ my cover band for a few shows and it was too intense...it definitely didnt get lost in the mix, but, it was just too much for a cover band...as far as low end in that situation, i didnt notice a terrible loss if any...its just VERY gritty

I'm beginning to have some good ideas about my board. I spent too much time wondering and searching, but that version of my board should be quite stable.

*First, Trace Elliot SMX Dual Comp. It's here for tests, I don't know if it's gonna stay. I'm not a comp addicted but it's a sweet pedal.

*Then, LS-2 with a long "Distortion" loop :
=> Volume pedal
=> Potentia (made by me), which I use for OD and crazy fuzz. I also could use it as a boost to kick the bassballs
=> A modded (still by me) EHX Bassballs. I love this one, the filters allow to control the sound with your playing, which I really miss with standard distortions. I use it only in Dist mode. The first volume pedal allows to control the filters, so I almost use this pedal as a wah.
=>Parametric EQ Boss PQ-3B, the 3 bands allow to add some of the low end which disappeared in the OD sound and to control the tone of the OD sound.
=>And finally another volume pedal to control OD volume (I don't like to bother myself with precise volume settings on an OD, plus Bassballs does not have one) and for violoning effects (when using my Potentia as a crazy, "synthy" fuzz).

*In the other loop of the LS-2, a PS-3. For Octave and Chorus sounds. I use Chorus alone, and Octave (+dry) can be added to dist sound. For fat "synth-like" sounds. This may be replace by an OC-2 and CE-2. I'm waiting to see if PS-3 alone can do the trick.

*Then, DD-6 digital Delay + custom looper (made by me of course). The looper (I used to call it Stutter but that's not exactly what it does) is quite sophisticated, FET powered (for silent switching), and the output isn't switched. I use it to throw only a kick in the delay, which repeats it. Only this kick. So my bass line remains clear, this allows to add some punchy sounds but whitout destroying my line. I love it and could not really use a delay without it, now that I created and tested it.

*I also added a Boss TWah, in the dist loop. I use it without distortion but // with the octaver, for fat funky sound (octave + dry + dynamic wah).

I would like to add a flanger, but I can't really justify it.
And I should add a synth, but synths are not as versatile as my setup here : volume pedal + bassballs + Potentia + octaver. I can add octave and dry sound whenever I want. My Lorg G5 is awesome but I can't control enough the sounds I get out of it, which is quite annoying. Plus, it's big.

I didn't mean for the bucks, I own 3 flangers (EHX Mistress, Ibanez FL-9, Boss BF-2). I meant for the room on the board and the real use I would have of it.

Same for phaser, I own a Ibanez PT-909, a Phase 90, a PH-2, I love it, but I won't really use it in the band.

I'll keep the Trace Elliot Dual Comp. I use it mainly for chords, as I often switch from finger playing to mediator chords, and I can't control the trebles when I switch to chords. This Dual Comp, with its 2 bands, is perfect to control this. Defnitively a killer unit !

Almost none of my Boss pedals bypass suck. The LS-2 does not suck, the boost do not produce noise. ;)

Alrighty then :) I'm just too sensitive about my tone, so I don't want any suck-up on it you kno'.

Just ordered the LS-2 today, will be using my old guv'nor in the B loop and clean in the A. Should give some nice, thick grind :)

Volume pedal> TU2> BSW> Bassdriver> LBM> Delay> Chorus> Phaser. And in the top right, You can kidna make out the EBow Ive been experimenting with.

An updated picture of my board. I just got the BSW and Im already thinking of replacing it with the Ampge octave. Such is the life of a gearhead...

This is my first official post here on TalkBass, after months and months of lurking.

Here's my simple pedal board.

BOSS TU-2 tuner
BOSS OC-2 octave
Tech21 SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver

The board itself is just a wooden board, upholstered with grey/black amp fabric.
