heres my updated pedalboard and some of the spares that couldnt fit. the 3rd pedal in the 1st picture is a custom feedback/true bypass loop called the "epidemic" made by indyguitarist.com.

ive got an aphex bass exciter and it specifically says to put it last in the chain. however, i would have thought you would put a compressor first...
I had the bass exciter, and i did put it last in the chain. Cool pedal, but I ended up replacing it with the sansamp. Anyway, I tried the compressor last, and it didn't sound very good. It considerably reduced my overall volume. When I compensated with the volume on the compressor it got very noisy when i wasn't playing. I guess i'll try it first when i get more time to mess around.
when i use my compressor, i typically run it first in line...for some reason it made my wah sound terrible when i ran the compressor last...but u dont use a wah...id still run it first if i were u so i could get the most testosterone from ur distortions

I'd try it after any filters/wahs and before anything else. Seems the most logical as filters and some wahs are dependent on dynamics.
I do not think that Im going to be adding anything else but so far

I was torn between that and the aphex punch factory. I ended up getting the aphex from a local shop, that way I could return it if i didn't like it. So far i think its pretty great.

I have not had the Compulator long enough to Gig with it at this point, but Im finding myself missing it when it is not on. The best description I have heard so far about these is that when it is not on is when you will notice what the pedal really does.
The effect is sublte for me .... a tightening up of the notes being played ... especially for active instruments, the sound becomes better defined ....
at this point I just leave it on all the time, So to answer your question I am liking it alot
If you like Ill let you know what I think once I have a chance to record some tracks and Gig with it.
