Yeah I like it. I haven't figured out a way to use it in a band situation yet, but it's quite fun hearing how it sets off the distortion :p

I think the expression pedal helps the effect loads. In the 'auto-wah' settings it lets you adjust the filter fluctuations on the go and in all the other settings you can either set the filter to stay at one point in its decay (ranging from subtle 'bubbles' in the sound to a synthed out harsh distortion) It also lets you make the filter decay at a speed much slower than the slowest possible setting on the pedal itself, creating quite a moody ambience.

My only qualm is its complete inability to handle polyphonics in anything other than modes 11 and 12 (...I think, the last two), It get's very random, seems to switch between which note it's going to affect. Though, a synth is meant to be random in a way. I'm usually in mode 11 anyway though so it doesn't bother me that much. I never tried the SYB-3, or any other synth pedal for that matter (bought it based on a 'Bass Player' article), so I have nothing to compare it to. I hear the SYB-3 wasn't too good though.

fender jazz with my owm custom made dimond plate pickguard and control plate, boss tu2 tuner, DOD bass overdrive, dod octaplus, dunlop bass wah, through a peavey mark III 400 RB through a peavey 1810. everyone says peavey **** blows and I love the tone I get and with the 18 even playing a show without me through the monitors everyone can feel my changes even in a cement slab garage floor. theirs is nothing like standing on a wooden stage feeling weak at the knees due to the vinbrations your cab is putting out.

Outbox is a thick, insane fuzz that adds an upper and lower octave overtone. Impossible to play more than one note thru it without self modulation. I wrote a long review on another thread somewhere here on the FX page, i think it was the PE Experience pedal thread.

Line6 FM4, yeah i noticed a very slight delay, but i could have lived with that. I just didn't like the sound of it for what i do. Sounds better for guitar than bass.

here is my latest incarnation. from left to right, (also the signal path)

Black Finger>Tu-2>Boss Dynamic Wah>Digitech BSW>EBS MultiDrive>AM Chorus>Red Witch Moon Phaser>Voodoo Labs Tremolo.

Items not currently on board are Ibanez Phathed, Boss Delay/Reverb, Boss Chorus, Blues Driver, Sansamp GT2, Sansamp BDDI.

i also have an Analogman BiComprosser on order and am considering some type of analog fuzz pedal (maybe something germanium).
