DM4?
The DM4 is blue and is a modulation modeler. The yellow one is the DD4 distortion modeler.xan said:
LOL! And yes lowmid is right, the distortion one of the DM4. I only use the DM4 for light distortions and some tone coloration. I use the Tube Driver setting mainly.
I'm eventually gonna buy a blend-loooper to see if i can get some killer heavy-distortion tones. I never really owned any distortion pedals so i cant say how they compare to the originals, but I think this unit sounds great so far. I did use the DM4 a few times with my guitar setup, and it sounds great with guitar.

It costed me 200$ used I think, has 4 loops. Uses standard pedal power. Works great.
same as sig, but I think its time to build a new board. and the second level you can buy and sorta modify from a kitchen organizer at target, and its only 3 bucks plus a hack saw and a 8 inch 2x4

heres a sample if youre interested. it kicks in briefly at 1:00 min. the other distorted sounds are from a boss xt-2 so as to fake a guitar sound

its ok, I use is just for a little gain. But if I want real dist I use the muff. this is for a slightly overdriven sound

Haha I tried and I can't make some of the pedals because i'm too dumb, but i'll try.
EDIT: I have to work on 6 more pedals, so don't expect it to be done too soon. It will be done eventually though!

Very versatile, no noise, built like a tank, very thick bass (if you want....).
I use it always in 50/50-Mode: 50% effect, 50% original sound - so you keep all the bass frequencies...
It's a wah with a full, rich and warm sound - not a bit distorted. If you're looking for a more overdriven sound that pedal is not the right effect for you.
