Looks identical to a fullsized Pedaltrain.

Are you sure the NS's threshold being at 3 o clock sounds good to u? I used to have it at that setting but it added some like ugly overdriven little static thing on low notes. So i lowered it to 2 clock and it's gone. so that was the problem lol just wondering if the same thing occures to u lol
Yikes.. Well I guess I'll scutinize it when I get home tonight - but NO! - I've noticed no such distortion!

Now the compressor DOES add some kind of distortion when I run the Attack control up past 3:00! That's because the release is too fast, I believe (it's called an 'attack' control - which it is - but the release is more-dramatically changed. Attack goes slower with CW-movement; release goes faster.). Don't get me wrong, though; I like it.

New pic! Added the T-Rex Fuel Tank today and found an old beat-up wah-wah made by a swedish music store. (Förstärkardoktorn för alla intresserade svenska)
The room between the wah-wah and the GD is reserved for an EHX little big muff arriving thursday, yeehaw! :bassist:

Okay- here is a work in progress:

I'll be changing my outlet configuration soon and trimming up the wiring for the Morleys. This summer I'll probably add an FM-4. Later additions will be an Analogman Clone Chorus and Orange Squeezer. I may also add Valvulator and a Prunes and Custard, but am undecided.

Nils- nice! i love finding oddball stuff that sounds cool... :) hope you like the little big muff! it's one of my favorites, for sure.

Tedintheshed- sweet board! can't wait to see the completed thang... did you make the loopers? and, does the octave fuzz produce a note above, or below? and, does it rock? those black cat effects seem like they rock.

The first pic is of the whole “kit & caboodle”.

The second is my main board which I generally use for touring / local gigs.
It basically goes:

bass >VHT Valvulator > XoTic RC Booster > EBS Octabass > Fulltone Bassdrive (running at 12volts) > Frantone Thunderhead > HAZ Mu-Tron > Renz Mute > amp

The third pic is my “extra” board containing the less often used stuff:

Boss DD-5 Delay > Ashdown Bass Drive Plus > Boss ODB-3 Overdrive > Boss SYB-3 Synth > Moog Bass Murf w/ expression & tempo pedals

I’m using the Mesa V-Twin more & more lately as it has an awesome growly fur that preserves each basses’ tone well. It’s a little big to travel with, however.

Depending on the gig, I either use the SansAmp Bass Driver DI or the Aguilar tube DI.

Very impresive, what is Valvulator?
