The loopers were custom made to my design by Pacific Customs Pedals, who does a lot of the loopers for Trailer Trash Boards. They are a great company to work with.

The BlackCat BOF gives a slight octave up. It is the best clone of Maestro Bass Brassmaster that I've found to date. It is a great pedal- it can give you a real face melting type of fuzz, and works well with my active bass.

Ted - I like the looper layout - it's a simplified version of the Voodoo Labs Ground Control system. I've been intending to do the same thing with mine on a bit smaller scale (4 or 5 loops + a master bypass), but haven't done anything with it yet. Having only the active effects in the signal chain makes a lot of sense to me.

Yeah- kind of. I wanted to be able to bypass multiple pedals without having them all on the same loop, while keeping others on.

The left loop is (from left to right) a master bypass, loop1, loop2, loop 3. the in/out of loop 3 is on the end and the master in/out for the right looper aligns with it. The right looper has loop4, loop5, loop 6, loop 7. So, when I bypass loop3 it will take anyhiing out of the signal chain on loops 4-7 while leaving the effects on loops 1-2 intact.

Also custom was the switch spacing (wider, to accomodate my clod hoppers) the the loop is wired backwards (left to tight, instead of right to left)., extra bright LED's (Red for the loops, green for the MB).

Oh, and I wanted it chrome to match my Morleys. :p

The Frantone Thunderhead is a neat pedal. It has something like 25db of boost below 300hz! It also can be used as a clean boost. This thing was exactly what I was looking for to beef up glissandos & song endings live. Sound engineers hate this thing, obviously. I keep the boost set pretty low as the pedal can easily kill speakers/power amps/crossovers/etc.

The overall tone of the pedal is really honest to the original signal & it's structurally solid. The white LED is super bright - in a cool way.

I had trouble getting ahold of a new one & then got it off ebay for under $100!

Built a new board today!

Using holes to remove cable clutter. The green one from the BSW to the Danelectro didn't make it so it's on top until I buy a set of George L's.

It's slightly angled/raised to allow the cabling underneath. I still have a bit of a hard time getting to the pedals on the second row, but it's not a huge issue at the moment.

Does that little Dano pedal cause you to lose some of your tone when its off? I have a little Chicken Salad Vibrato (the orange one), and while I really like the effect, the tone suck is really bad having it in my signal chain.

The Marshall Guv'Nor is in the reserves for now but may reappear sometime in another configuration of my board.

Yeah, it has a little more tone suck than the others, but the others can be bad too (the Phase 90 is in dire need of true bypass). It's only there till i get a Punch Factory, but I kinda like it, maybe one day I'll put it into a better case and make it true bypass.

No pictures yet but I have Z.Vex Woolly Mammoth, EHX Bass micro synth, DOD 250 Overdrive and EHX Q-tron. I'll post a picture when i've figured out what order to put them in and when I have my Q-tron back from repairs. An English muff'n will soon be added on christmas day :D and i'll be gettin a Big muff and Phase 90 soon after that.

i took pictures (finally).

the first one is of all my pedals (minus a double muff and a boss tremolo... guitarist is borrowing them). the second one is of my actual board (for the moment.... i keep experimenting with the different ones).

i've got a dan-echo on the way, too. my sansamp isn't on my board because i have a sansamp RBI in my rack. :bassist:

in the vfb2 loop:

bass microsynth - POG - little big muff - OCD - george dennis phaser - maxon af9.

the ad01 delay actually goes in my amp's effects loop, as does the mxr smart gate (gate first, delay second).
