It's just a single fx loop built by some dude in Wisconsin (I forgot his name). He also makes fuzz pedals with the same kind of casing and w/knobs ;) I'd like to try one of those one trick fuzzes & see how dimed they are :bassist:

i think i got that thing for about 20 bucks or so. i don't really use it that often... but it's in pristine shape. and it was so cheap...

XtraLongScale: the GD phaser sounds awesome. the blending is great, and the tone is beautiful. doesn't get as fast as most other phasers out there... but i like slow phasing on bass, anyway, so no problem. the only issue is that the signal cuts out for a split second when you engage it. i don't know if it's the same with all of them, but i've definitely heard of others having this issue. it's kind of annoying, but i can live with it. if it becomes really REALLY unbearble, i'll get myself a looper to alleviate the issue. but it sounds freaking sweet, nonetheless!

That sounds like what i'm getting w/my Maxon PT999, minus the dropout issue. Does it have the optical switch, like their wah's? I really like that slow phasing, too. Especially paired w/a mellow overdrive or even a balls out fuzz. I'll probably add a more aggressive phaser down the road, so I can get that "Stranglehold" sound. +1 on a looper purchase. Best 26 bucks I ever spent :D

Naa, like the looks of the Sovtek better. :) But maybe the US sounds better, it would be nice to compare them some day :hyper:

I do some times. The distortions sounds more warm and you can hear more lower frequencies then if you use only the Big Muff. It's hard to describe, I can record an example on Saturday.

as far as i know, the switch is one of the optical ones. it takes quite a bit of pressure to activate, and there's no "click" when you do... in fact, the switch barely moves at all. it would be just fine if it didn't cut out when i activated it... but the looper will take care of that. it's a great sounding phaser!
