My current 'pedalboard'. Morley Power Wah Boost and USA Big Muff Pi. Normally there would be a Boss Flanger BF-2 in there but my friend is currently borrowing it.

After doing a little trading with Trevorus tonight, (we live about 15 min. from each other...) I reorganized my board and here's the outcome...

Peterson StroboStomp > a Digitech Rock Box (combo with Chorus and Distortion in it...) > the Danelectro Reverb > Seymour Duncan PU booster > Tech 21 Bass Driver > EHX Bassballs > Dunlop 105Q wah.

There's also a vintage MXR Distortion+ on there, but it's currently not hooked up to anything as I only use it on guitar. So most of the time it just sits there looking pretty.

There are some pretty wacked out sounds that can come from this board, I like them a lot...so yeah. That's it.

Hey how's the Rockbox sound? There's been one for sale on NoiseFX for fairly cheap that has had me interested, but I can't find any reviews of it anywhere. Does it handle bass frequencies well?

how is the small stone? ive been looking into those.

IT IS FANTASTIC!!!! i love it to bits, i love putting it after my muff putting them both on at the same time dont play anything and slowly increasing the rate on the stone, it makes a really like UFO taking off or landing time sound, blows my mind everytime. As for the volume drop, i dont experience it at all infact i believe it gives me a bit of a volume boost.

The friend of mine and I, as we were designing it, were talkin' like that at first too. We concluded - with sort-of a "duh-slap" to the foreheads - that I'm not on the road, I'm not expecting it to fit-into a truck with three other guy's stuff.. Two-fifteen cab goes across the back seat; board either on top of that, or on-edge on the backseat floor - it'd even fit in the trunk, probably.

But more importantly: playing-out is a big, big deal to me; I do it for the purpose of really, really giving the very-best that I can; best-I-can looking masterful and trying to 'leave an impression' on those watching and listening to me. I'm not going to play cool-and-nonchalante in my attitude: I'm easily willing to go through quite a bit of trouble for my music (like practicing ten hours for every one that I play-out, and packing-up to travel four hours each-way to hang with you bunch'a dufuses for a few hours at the midwest get-together: OH-BOY!!).

And even if I DID suddenly get-discovered and be swept into a big tour of the continent... I'd just put it in a case that was no bigger than a Rich Warlock case, and be on my way!

The extra space around the front is where the skateboard tacktape goes, for my heel to rest on; I didn't like how it felt to have my heel on the floor, reaching up on to the board like that (it'll be higher yet with some little feet on the bottom). The arc of the pedals is the natural arc that my foot takes if I just stand in front of the board, and sweep my foot around out in front of me. I figured I'd go with standard flat 'stage-black paint for the finish, but I might consider some sort of stain and/or clearcoat something.

I didn't want them double-stacked; that really bugs me (I always bump the front-row knobs). The most impractical-ness going on here, when I really think about it, is for the board being this shape to possibly require ONE extra trip to the car.

The only thing I have significant lust for is a psilocybe phaser, so I asked for it for my birthday (in Feb) so I wouldn't be tempted to buy one. I need to chill on the GAS. So this will be the last revision of my board for awhile. I need to focus on playing and using the tools that I have rather than toys all the time.

I'm not 100% sold on a delay pedal, so that last spot is still flexibile with a couple of pedals I already have so a filter or a chorus may end up back on board once I get things (aka: what I am playing in what song) settled out.

Actually, I just picked up an EHX Bass MicroSynth.. I need to replace my compressor, 'causemine was stolen a week or so ago (along with my Blonde Bombshell Lakland)

I'm going to order a new Pedal Board itself, and use my old one for a new board I am building...

So in Review:

Main Board (Pedals in <> are on the GAS list):
Bass -> <Pacific AB/Tuner Out> (Tuner to TU-2) -> <Compressor> -> Morely AB/Y
A -> Fender Reverb -> Amp

Second Board:
<Delay Pedal> -> EHX Bass MicroSynth -> <EHX POG> -> <Multiple modulation filters> -> FAB Flange -> <Rocktron Hypnotic Flange>

What I need to find is someone who can make a patch bay, so I can insert Board 2 into the Main Board. Something that allows the patch bay to be bypassed if there's nothing in the inserts.

I'd like the delay, Synth, and POG to insert either after or before the compressor, and then the Modulation pedals set between the phase medal and the chorus pedal.
