Those "big cheesey rubber covered knobs" actually serve a purpose. You can make adjustments to your settings with your feet a lot easier with the rubber covers on.

I dunno.....I find it more enjoyable to make adjustments without a big rubber cover. It just feels better without a big rubber, ya know?
