I use that same exact setting on my MXR Bass Octave. Mine has cheesy rubber covered knobs though .

You can get other knobs for it if you like. Big aftermarket part-sellers have these for sale if you want'm.

Those "big cheesey rubber covered knobs" actually serve a purpose. You can make adjustments to your settings with your feet a lot easier with the rubber covers on.

I dunno.....I find it more enjoyable to make adjustments without a big rubber cover. It just feels better without a big rubber, ya know?

Believe me, if someone is putting their feet on your knob, you want a big rubber cover on it.

Uh, I thiink those rubber covers are a MUST... Cant think about doing any on-the-go adjustment while playing whitout 'em. Well, in fact I can, but then a broken knob comes to mind...

I just prefer Knurled steel/brass knobs. Wood knobs are cool too, although until I can get paid, I'll just have to wait my turn... Leave it to bass players to bring a comment about potentiometers into the low end of the gutter... I don't think I've ever been this proud to be a bass player

Well, I've had some down time, so I built a new board from scratch. The first picture is my primary board, while the second board has my less-often used pedals as well as my D.I.'s.

Signal chain: Bass>VHT Valvulator>Xotic Bass RC Booster (for pumping up my low-output basses)>EBS Octabass>Fulltone Bass-Drive (running at 12v)>Frantone Thunderhead>EBS Valve Drive>HAZ Mu-Tron III+>MOOG Bass Murf (w/ expression pedal and tap tempo pedal)>Renz Mute Type II>Boss SYB-3>Amp and seperate output to Boss TU-15 Tuner

Extras: Mesa V-Twin>Boss ODB-3 Overdrive>Boss DD-5 Delay
Also footswitch for Fender 300Pro amp as well as SansAmp BDDI and Aguilar DB900 D.I.
