Post Your Pedalboard - Part II

heres my pedalboard again, it was posted in the original show your effects board forum,

Zvex Woolly Mammoth->Boss TU2->Boss EQ20->Line 6 FM4(2)->Moog Moogerfooger MF101->Moog Moogerfooger MF102->Line 6 DL4->Ampeg SVTDI->Boss FV-500L, expression pedals.

Over the next year I plan to buy a digital bass whammy, schumann PLL and a moogerfooger phaser, and a bigger board to add those to my collection.

Small question for you......why does the TU-2 come second in the chain as opposed to first or last? Was it an arbitrary placement or used for muting the zvex, etc?

I finally got round to taking a pic of my pedalboard (pedal floor in my case).

I think it's pretty obvious how the signal path goes. Still planning to add an EBS Octabass or EHX POG, 2 Boss LS2's (one to loop Bass micro synth and one to loop and clean blend the q-tron) a korg DT10 tuner and i'm going to get a Diago pedalboard too. I also really want a moog low pass filter and ring modulator.

Dunno if it's my love for really big pedals... but that's absolutely gooorgeous:hyper:

that is sweet... I can go without teh wolly mammoth.. I guess I just have a problem spending $300 on a one-trick pony... but the rest is rather amazing...

Well, your setup seems to be very interesting IMHO! I used to be a real EHX junkie, but I finally noticed this stuff brings a lot of noise in and without a Boss NS-2 it was quite impossible not to kill my tone, so I kept the BMS (at least!) and sold the Double Muff, the Polychorus, the BassBalls... :eek:

Anyway I'm a little bit confused by your pedal chain order :eyebrow: : I've always thought you would get a better sound when placing filters first, so I would have done it this way: QTron > BMS > Mammoth > LBMuff > EMuff'N. :confused: Just a suggestion... But hey, that's your ears that make the rules! :bassist:

I think you're right when planning on getting one or two LS-2s; I've done it with my BMS, so that I can mix it 'cause there's a real volume drop when it's on! And I must admit it works very well...

I'll post my - updated - pedalboard with new photos soon; I'm just waiting to receive some George L’s cables this week, plug the whole stuff, and then... :hyper:

And it does for me for sure, I used to bring a 10 space rack of FX and pedals so at this point it does everything I used to do with stuff like Lexicon, Oberheim and Eventide. My back and my ears are thanking me.
