Sorry for the delay.

Anyways where to begin.

The FM4 to me is just absolutely amazing. Not too many cons to list.

It doesnt have the glitchy problems the other Line 6 stompboxes do. It is digital so it doesnt sound as rich and warm as analog, but for how many effects there are you cant really complain. The mix knob makes the thing, it is made for guitar so your low end wont come through as well but with the mix knob you can control it well enough where the low end of your dry signal will come through with the effect still there, pretty great sounds. Theyre my favorite pedals on the board next to the woolly mammoth, id recommend any bass player pick one(or more!) up if you wanna make some awesome sounds, oh and get an expression pedal for it, its a must, lemme know if anyone has anymore questions.

damn straight on that... and it actually sounds quite good...

I'm still going to add a Rocktron Hypnotic Flanger, and run both.. use the FAB for the 'normal' Flange sounds, and have the Rocktron for insane stuff...

For a great, metallic, hollow sound, I ran my MicroSynth into the A/B pedal.

A->Spring Reverb (the Fender box under the rack) -> Ampeg
B->Pedal Board (Hot Tubes, CEB-3, and FAB all on) -> GK

In the pic, I'm running everything from the heads to FOH via the Line-out, and use a Roland Keyboard Amp (along with out drummer) as a monitor.

I'm gonna try to cure your gas evan...DON'T BUY AN SYB3

It's such a cheap sounding, unsuable, bad tracking effect, and is far too expensive for what it is. It's almost impossible to play a quick synth line, I couldn't even play Jamiroquai's Deeper Underground without it glitching out on me. I used mine only for the autowah and sub octave settings, both which were really bad anyway.

Get anything synth other than that, try the Digitech Bass Synth Wah instead, you'll thank me later.

Or, if you have the funds and the desire to get really tweaky, the EHX Micro Bass Synth.

Me -> Lakland 4402 -> SYB-3 synth -> MT-2 distortion -> Mini Q-tron -> LMB-3 Limiter/Enhancer -> Dunlop Crybaby (converted into volume pedal) -> Ampeg B2R/BSE410H/BSE115 fullstack

I found that hooking up the MT-2 and dialing it back a bit can give a really nice slightly-overdriven sound a la Allen Woody. And it makes some super cool sounds with the Mini Q

All are attached via industrial strength velcro on a 1x12 w/ little loft in the back. I used some rustoleum textured spray-paint which turned out really nice.
