I use this for my preamp, running into a x-over, then to a power amp:

To x-over, power amp.

The dbx is sitting on a little box angled up, so I can see it if it's on the floor. Sometimes it sits on the box that holds my Crest power amp. Modest, but essential, and sounds pretty good. I need to add a wah pedal.

no, you're jealous. :D

nice board, Higgie!

Cheers mate!

Higgie,
Can you please explain how you had the Barge Looper customized and how much did it cost you? Also, do you find you use the feedback function often?

Thanks!

Here's a thread about custom VFB-2's including what I had done to mine in the second post: Custom VFB-2's

Including Global Priority shipping to the UK, my total was $175.

I don't use the Feedback function that much really, I'll sometimes switch it on at the end of the set just to make some big fat feedbacking sounds while the guitarist is playing with his whammy, but I definitely think it will come in handy when doing some proper recording...Using the Whammy in the loop creates some interesting sounds...

Hey Higgie! Nice collection of pedals!
How are those Chunk Systems pedals?
I'm gassing for that Brown Dog for a so long now.
It's my ultimate fuzz!

First off, thanks mate!

The Chunk pedals are great. The filter is capable of many many sounds, which is both a pro and a con - as it's hard to dial in what you want, but when you find THAT sound, it's great. The fuzz is great. Really thick and chunky, but you can actually dial in the most lightest gain you can think of if you want, as you have a seperate knob for fuzz volume and clean signal volume...

When used together via the Envelope jacks they turn into basically one big synth pedal. I sold my EHX Micro Synth because when used in conjunction they can create VERY similar (if not identical) sounds, obviously without the octave voices the micro synth has...But that's where the whammy comes in ;)

this is the board as of now:

i'm waiting on a Radial BigShot I/O (which will go in the bottom right corner) and am still contemplating the Subdecay Noise Box (which would go... somewhere... :hmm:). very fun board, though! lots of great gain flavors, some juicychocolatefunk, some chewythrobbage, and a little *whooooosh* action. :bassist:
