I haven't done this yet?

Soon to be added: MT-2 metal zone as soon as I get an extender for the daisy chain. Or I'll build a rip-off power brick or something.

Board last time I posted my board (october):

And a new crappy camera phone pic chez Kev:

Note the GAS-inducing space on the left. It's free for useless toys to occupy, so I'm thinking pitch shifter, delay, maybe a noise machine, something(s) like that. :ninja:

^^ Nice board!

Fill it with a Devi Ever for the noise-making.

I'm alright for fuzz I think - doesn't Devi Ever only really do fuzzes?

If it's a noise maker I'm mostly GASsing for this at the moment. Seems pretty versatile.

That appears to be the perfect size for a Mooger ;)

Oh you did not just go there! :D

I was thinking I could probably squeeze a Whammy in. Thing is with the 'foogers you'd want at least one exp. pedal on it, so that's more space. But yeah I just turned around and looked at my board and it looks like I've deliberately left a gap for one. Maybe it's fate...

Do you notice any difference between the Regular BMS & the XO BMS??

you could fit a delay and a Noisebox =P

Yes! Several.

The new one has more available resonance, and slightly better tracking. But on the lower notes where it tracks better than the old one, they distort easily if you play hard - that never happened on the old one.

The rate slider on the new one isn't as good - all the most useful part of the range is packed into a tiny stretch of slider, so it's harder to set how you want it.

And the sliders on the old one were stiffer, on the new one they move too easily.

I think in many ways the old one is actually better. And the old one was better looking.

I don't want a Noisebox because I've already got two pedals (three if you count the Bassballs) that JohnDavisNYC has got. ;)

A delay would be fun and maybe useful for modulation. I'm thinking a delay and the Link Removed might be the way to go. Ring-moddy, bit-blippy noise, mmm.
