You:
A) Acquire pedalboard
B) Fill said pedalboard with as many pedals as can possibly fit. The pedals should have as many LED's, weird shaped knobs, jacks, potentiometers, and toggle switches that can fit into each enclosure.
C) Plug in and create sonic mayhem

I buy things that just look cool to put on my board. I have lucked out because they have all ended up being pedals.
I choose my pedals based on the paint job - the more hand-painted it looks, the better it must sound. Bonus points for metal-flake and/or pin-up girls (a la Gemini).
Do you use your Tone Hammer as a DI or just for tone shaping and overdrive? I haven't seen a whole lot of in-depth reviews on the Tone Hammer yet.
I use the tone hammer for tone shaping because all of my basses are passive. I haven't had the opportunity to use the DI yet in a live situation but the box is killer. I'm really starting to enjoy this box. I've had it for about 3 weeks. It's great. The AGS is great as well.
I can tell you know the DI from the Tone Hammer is really nice I've done a few gigs with it and it sounds great.

Although I have been looking at devi ever stuff for all the switches and stuff.
I rebuilt my hack-job Bank-up-bank-down pedals into this, So much cleaner. - Need soething to sleeve the thin home-twisted-pair cables though, Might just Wrap in black electrical tape...
It now provides me with a channel switch for my GK too! - Complete with blindingly bright green LED

Don't feel like luggin' the whole durn thing for a 20 minute gig:
Since dirt is my one Must Have effect, the Angler is the perfect all-in-one pedal for quick/lazy sessions, as it can go from heavy to biting with a simple tweak of the Tone knob. The main board has all I need and then some, but as crowded as it currently is, there is no genuine excess since I utilize all this stuff on a regular basis (well okay, I just got the flanger today, but unless it sucks in a mix I'm sure it will stick around). The only thing I can even think that is missing is an envelope filter, but as fun as they are, I rarely have use for them in a band or even solo situation.
So, I hesitate to use the phrase "I am done," but I really feel like it. We'll see how long that lasts.

Thanks man. I'm curious as well honestly, haha. I think for my solo noise crap I can easily justify keeping all three on there, but in a band context I want to see if phasing and flanging make their own individual unique impact. Probably not, except maybe to myself.
I have a gig on Wednesday, I'll find out more then. The Barracuda does a damn fine chorus though, not as lush as the Analog.man but still quite good.It only showed up today, so no in depth thoughts or clips yet. It is a little subtle (without dirt in front of it anyhow), but it sounds amazing. Two things that immediately stand out are how warm it sounds, as well as how sloooooooooooow it can get.
