And has anyone tried a Devi Synth Mangler or Bit Mangler and putting it on the board to control the joystick with your feet?
Me too...it looks way too delicate. I wonder if I could mount it on its side and somehow move it with my toe 
The bit mangler is another Devi pedal that I kinda want. Like you said though not to sure about the ease of use with a joystick, but talk about making a board look cool... 
Plus alot of the Devi pedals are just fun but not to practical.

The Carbon copy is heaps of fun. It can be nice and subtle but also pretty crazy, especially when combined with the Valcoder

Yeah like Katri said, about the same height, but I've got mine on some cardboard at the moment to raise it up! The jack isnt as high as the one on the carbon copy, and I had to use that little connector because I ran out of patch leads
Did you ever try running the Valcoder into the Bottom Feeder? I wonder if that things pulses hard enough to retrigger the filter.....
The Valcoder pulses harder than anything else I've used

there's an internal trimpot to adjust the volume. i have mine set to unity. makes it much more subtle.
After way too many hours configuring, cutting and routing wires, etc- My board is 'complete' for the time being. The moog phaser replaced the short-lived polyphase and the Freqbox was an unexpected trade for the G5 I had for sale. I'm looking to replace the Muffn with something smaller and 9vdc- The paradriver didn't do it for me and will probably be sold soon. The Empress is pretty much on there for show right now- It's a great delay but it does way more than I need it to, and I'm really gassing for an mp201 to take care of most of my exp pedal needs as well as potentially kick the ring mod off in favor of a bit crusher (it will stay in the collection either way)- Selling the Empress and using my DM2 while I wait for the new malekko delays to come out would help to fund that. The Gyroscope just came back from being updated to the current s&h version and is being auditioned, though it probably will be on the chopping block as well. I also need to work on powering my pedals more efficiently.. and I could keep going on and on, so Ill stop- Here's the boards-

My compressor is at the end of the chain too. Always on, out of the effects loops. I think it sounds great! It also evens out some of the larger volume boosts created by some of the effects...
Maybe that's the difference between you and me.
I don't run a lot of pedal on the same ocassion (although I have a bunchload of pedals).
But I can understand why you might do it that way, to control the boosts if you have so many different kind of animals on your board.

I am finally quite happy with the set up....nothing über-ly boutique despite the Sad.
The mxr comp and the Sad Pre are always on and give me my sound a fab. clean J tone.
Super clean Marcus Miller on the 70s era J and a solid great all around tone on the 60s era Js I own. The two looper (blue and purple total 4 loops) eliminate all the other non true bypass pedals for minimal signal loss.
The only exception is the OC-2...I found its essential to have it early in the chain for the drum n bass synth sounds I am after. Also this config gives me the option to send a clean sub signal to the FOH from the Sad DI for massive überbass.
I don´t like modest effects I want nasty Bootsy Funk stink, when I step on something or some sort of electronica synth thing ...

well got a new pic of my pedalboard dummied up...
bit of a noise board now!!!
path is tuner - PS-3 - noise box - SB7 (going to change over to PD7 on final board cos that would be my 'main' distortion pedal) - flying tomato - hardwire DL8 - weeping demon,...
had a quick play just then and its awesome haha!
using the wah to 'filter' noise out of the chain is cool... especially once the looper is going! get the noise box, ps-3 and flying tomato lower pitched and very evil sounding!
I found out the hard way the DL8 repeats were on trails,... had looper and repeat and time onto full... accidentally oscillated it so turned the pedal off and it kept going hahahha, only way to stop it was turn the selection knob off the current delay setting
need to velcro them on cut the planet wave cables to length etc but this is definitely a keeper set up as for the most part I only use bass into amp and distortion on one song in my band right now, but planning on doing a 'noise' song so very handy to have everything on the board...
my one complaing,... the weeping demon is HUGE to try and fit and the battery compartment got in the way so had to use an extra long cable to go halfway round the board lol
that said, its so evil sounding when combined with the flying tomato... just love it!
after the board is done I might have to figure out what to do with the 8 other pedals I have left over lol
BF-3, compressor, turbo rat, bass chorus, ts9, carbon copy, bass EQ and devi ever bass fuzz,... almost a whole nother board there in itself (don't have use for a compressor cos im getting a new head with onboard compressor,... and too many EQ things on bass and head a pedal is just more confusion!)
so mmm just have to see how this goes in a band setting...

I never actually thought of doing that!
But I just tried it without my amp and cab (used an audio interface & monitor speakers) and yes it does seem to re-trigger it on certain settings which is kinda cool.
Maybe I should have the bottom feeder second last in the chain... That might be kinda weird though coming after distortion and the mistress.
I can't test it out properly cause I don't have all my pedals with me or my cab atm
