Since this one is already derailed...

I started playing Link to the Past about 3 months ago; got to the Second Water Temple and quit. I started playing Ocarina of Time after that; got to the Second Water Temple and quit.

I'm beginning to see a pattern form.

Muahaha, our attempts to distract the mods is working... quick! release the killer bees!!!

lol the ice temple isnt that hard, it was that damned water temple thats a bitch and a half

Oh I didn't say it was especially hard... I just kinda lost interest haha :hiding:

Its the same in every game, the water temple is the hardest to get through, because of the way its layed out. They give you one key and two door options, pick the wrong one and your screwed:ninja: Except the desert temples on both MM and Ocarina.

And I actually don't think that MM or The Wind Waker were bad games. Ocarina was certainly best, and Twilight I think the the second, but I love them all, all the way back to Link To The Past anyway. I've only played back that far.

I'm just now to the final temple of Twilight Princess. I really love this game. Its going to be interesting to see how they tie in Ganondorf this time...

EDIT: On topic, kind of. I go back to Nashville to get my Traynor YBA-200 and Sansamp on Wednesday, which will sit ontop of my new (to me) Ampeg 410HLF, which will mark the completion of my rig, which will mark my official splurge into effects, because the I'll have nothing else to spend my money on (:ninja:)

I beat OoT once this summer and started playing again - I got through the Water Temple but I didn't do the Shadow and Spirit temples yet. The Water Temple in OoT isn't terrible, it's just that "hidden" small key in the central tower. ;D

I haven't even tried figuring out the Great Bay temple - I'm going to use a walkthru later to beat it (yeah I know, cheap... I figure, in 10 years I'll play again all by myself and be happy in life). I also have to go back in the temples and get those darn fairies... So annoying. ><
I think MM is a good game... I just hate those fairies...

Your "to buy" list is alright, but I'd get a different compressor based on bongo's reviews (either an Optostomp, Demeter, or EBS) and a different chorus (Rocktron, Analogman, etc). The rest seem pretty solid -everything IMO of course.

You're making me want to play Twilight princess all over again :( I love the fortress at the end... so many baddies to kill >:3

Anyways, anyone object with my TO BUY LIST? :P

I'm in the shadow fortress moving the mini-sun things. I fell off a staircase and the big hand got the thing back, so I have to start that part over. So I paused it and got back on here:p

Not really. I'm not a huge fan of the Punch Factory. Its a pretty good compressor, I admit, but the one I tried had some noise issues, and they're built like a Kid's toy from Korea, but as the name implies, it adds punch, and does a fair job of compressing your signal.

I like the Boss Choruses. I'm not a chorus guy by any means, but the Boss models were all very deep and very lush.
