Back on topic, What is the deep impact? That looks interesting..

UH OH.... Dude....run!! Forget you ever saw it :D

Its a bass synth (i just did a clip recently, have a search)... They are expensive and hard to get. I wish I had never asked that same question :)

If you want one, best bet is a wanted ad in the TB classifieds. I got mine quickly with no bid war that way ($500). I have seen them fetch $750 on ebay

This is my board (evidently), with added picture grainy goodness:

oh boy i don't need another bass whammy episode lol

I managed to get my Deep Impact for 70 pounds on account of knowing someone who wasn't a bassist who somehow had one.

I've found the graphic fuzz to be really versatile on bass, because with all the sliders you can get anything from muff style fuzz to slightly dorty overdrive. It also keeps a lot of low end which is always a plus.

I like it!
What do you think about the sonic stomp?

Instant lusciousness! I heard a difference right away! That and the opto stomp are lifetime keepers! I cant wait to hear them out somewhere cranked up.

Edited to add: Wow Dr_Funkdamental your pedal board looks familiar! You have good taste in pedals.

Thanks man! Seein that Im pretty new to pedals, I take this compliment very highly lol.

oh hi mr.dave... yeah i really can't justify having both of them... although i know that the EP-1 is supposed to be a Phaser... but still...

sure if i do decide to let it go u'll be the first to know mate

cheerz

Yeah all good, i don't have any cash at the moment but it would just be cool to hear... otherwise hopefully this Melbourne GTG happens and i can hear you're whole board!

The Morley will soon be replaced by a Loop-Master mini A/B. Eventually, I'm going to make precise-length cables for the whole thing. The tuner will be sitting below the LBM, and there will be a VFB-2 (probably custom) to the left of that. The switcher will be below the Aguilar, and a Micro POG above the Bassballs. The BB is sideways so that it's easier to change the modes.

And yes, the Aguilar is being powered by the PP2+ :D

The little white thing is a piece of velcro to keep the power cables in place.

The Aguilar is for my NS Wav4, and I plug my Carvin into the other input on the switcher.
