Heh, you settings on the B:ASSMASTER are EXACTLY the same as mine... :p It's the best bass fuzz on the market, I think, and I hope the next pedals from Malekko will be equally great...!

How do you like the Blueberry OD? I ordered one a few months back based on some sound clips, but I still don't know when (or even if) I'll get it.

And is the Maxon Flanger similar to the Ibanez FL9?

Nice board, albeit a bit small... :D

As a distortion for bass, i wouln't say it's fantastic (main problem being loss of low end and no blend switch) However what i use it for, it does perfectly! I mainly use the MM for screaming highs, Cliff style! It'll loose you low end, but if your after the screaming highs and cliff-esque tone, this is the pedal for you.

Even with the DBW (which isn't a very harsh wah pedal) you can get the nail the cliff tone awesomely, just with the MM and DBW. Scary thoughts about using the MM with a power wah.

Not very detailed i know, but a good purchase if bought and i think it would stay on your board. (as i only use it for the cliff-esqu type distortion, im tempted to purchase the XO MM (as im sure the tone knob would be fine instead of the EQ) and sell the larger MM to my guitarist (btw, this is probably the best sounding distortion with gui*ar, i've ever heard in my life!)

Basdyret: actually, i'm constantly playing with the knobs on the Assmaster. it's so versatile and easy to tweak, and i love every sound i get out of it. it's a killer pedal!
the Blueberry is awesome! it's, quite simply, the best sounding overdrive i've heard for bass. its only flaw is that it rolls off some highs, so you do lose a little presence and definition. it really shines in the studio, or otherwise blended with some clean tone. but the sound you get out of it is... orgasmic.
i haven't used the FL9 enough to really be able to compare the two... but the FL301 is the warmest, juiciest, and best flanger for me. it's my favorite. :)

M. Boo: i like the Compulator more than the MultiComp. it's the best pedal comp i've heard. of the ones i've heard/owned, my three favorites are the Compulator, the BargeConcepts RC-2, and the MultiComp (in that order).

TaySte: more pedals, eh? that's what the other two boards are for. :D this one's meant to be very simple and drive-heavy. i'm re-tooling my other boards to have more options and variety. (i'll probably end up "hiding" the PP2 as you've suggested... the pictures i've seen of this mod are intriguing. but i'm ok for now. :))

That's very true - it's not just the best sounding bass fuzz on the market, it's also the most versatile. I just happened to land on the very setting on your pic the last time I used mine... Thought it was a fun coincidence :D

Ok, here's my temporary contribution. Nothing is secured or wired, as I'm VERY confident that I'll be replacing this crappy board, and changing a few of the boxes around. (Please excuse the very messy desk!)

edit: If you look in the corner of the second pic, you'll see a hint of my other effects unit, which has seen much more action than the pedals lately.

lol, I've had a board, in fact it hasn't changed much since the last time I posted it, which is why I hadn't posted it!

I suppose it has been a few months since my last board postage.

I took this picture too, and I feel like posting it, it is my DIY setup! I need a toolbox/tackle box and a better table to do things on.

Actually, I almost never use it!

I just never really have a use for it... what I have used it most for at shows: responding to calls for freebird by playing the organ part.

Then I used it once for a solo on an impulse.

It sounds great, and I can't bear to get rid of it, but I really don't use it often.

I might use it more when I go back to being in a 1 guitar 1 bass band to help fill things out.

bottom left is a booster I call it "!!!" (for those who have seen it before, I didn't get rid of the design, I sold that one to a friend and made myself a new one, I haven't got around to decorating it yet)

Top right is a blender that I can switch off either the effected channel or the clean channel. I figured out how to make it with some help from people here in the thread called passive mixers.

yeah it was like $40 I think... used

I like the sound enough that I don't feel the need to find something else. It is in the blender's loop, I like the sound of it with some clean low end. I thought it sounded pretty similar to the TS9. the TS9 was definitely different, I think it was more transparent...

I'm in - at the top right is a green Chuck's no-suck true bypass looper. It's the total bypass for the board if something goes goofy - one step and I'm straight into the amp. I had him wire it differently so the in and out are on the right, this way the cable from my bass and to the amp are on the outside of the board. Next stop is the Fulltone Bassdrive, to another looper that switches in and out the signal going to the Aphex Punch Factory compressor and then to the Boss OC-3 octaver. After that, it's the EHX Bassballs and into the Yamaha Magicstop which is being used as a flanger. All powered by a Dunlop DC Brick and the Furman locking power strip, and sits on a Pedaltrain 2 board. Looks like the DC Brick could be moved to the bottom of the board, leaving space for a couple more toys...

Sweet board. The Punch Factory does a lot to improve the octave tracking, I guess? You don't ever use the magicstomp for anything other than flanger? Just wondering.
