wow. that is an extremely clean PQ3B! mine's all scratched up and you can barely read the writing anymore. nice board! it's simple-icious! :bassist:

I was surprise too, it seems that the previous owner never used it.

Nothing wrong with that setup at all. I hear really good things about those Yamaha units.

Magicstomp IMHO is the best multieffect ever. Great sounds (especially the delay & modulations), tons of parameters, the only problem that it is very difficult to configure without a PC. I think Yamaha's decision to make this pedal minimalist ruined it.

I plan to sell that Exciter, somehow I don't like the sound anymore. Then going full analog by put back my Jacques Prisoner analog delay, Maxon chorus & Boss BF2B flanger, and maybe mod my Boss SD1 to be usable on bass.

Latest update:

Out: SansAmp BDDI; DigiTech Chorus; DigiTech XP-100

In: SansAmp Programmable; Boss CE-5

I rearranged the pedals and cleaned up the board a bit so it's more organized now :) Except for the big, sad "broken XP-100" blank spot :(

@_@

how did it brake?! :confused:

No idea. I guess you could say it still "functions" but it's always super distorted and the clipping light is pretty much always on.

No idea what caused it. Was working fine one day, and the next time I plugged my bass in, all distorted and such. I opened it up and there doesn't appear to be any damage or loose parts. I dunno. :confused:

i dont remember if it was on the bass whammy only or on this one too, but is there a "level input" dial on the back? if so, turning it down will make it sound way better.

and try to contact "jetpack" something or other on ebay, hes the guy that sells those xp #00 pedals that have all 4 xp pedals in one chasis. he might be able to fix it or even mod it for you...

Oh yeah I messed with the Level knob. From Min to about 25% it's constant clipping, 25%-~50% not always clipping, but really distorted, and 50% up it's back to the almost always clipping, just way more distorted.

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do just yet for my Whammy needs. Gonna check my funds and the 'Bay and make a decision.

That sucks!!! Well atleast you got that tonebender still! :D

Mine should come this week!!

Oh yeah :D I've been playing Jambi so much it hurts. I love the Tonebender. I like my new set-up now as well. I switched the Flanger and Chorus in the chain, so now the Flanger and Delay are side by side (as you can see in the pic). So when I play Jambi, I can turn both pedals on and off at the same time, which is really nice.
