I had a cat called "Peavey" when I was a child, too. It was my mothers' idea. :)

Gruesse, Pablo

Cool! There's a story behind my Peavey's name. Four years ago, my luthier friend John Stoneman found a starving cat while he was out biking. He had no luck finding the owner or a new home, so I took him. I decided that since a luthier had found him, he needed a luthier name and settled on Orville Gibson because I like old-fashioned names.

Three years later, I acquired another cat from the pound. He looks a bit like Orville (Siamese-tabby mix) and I considered naming him Leo Fender, but liked the sound of Hartley Peavey better. I guess this means my next cat also has to be named after a musical equipment innovator.

FWIW, the cat I've had the longest is named Blanche Devereaux. I've been a Golden Girls fan for a long time.

Keepin' the black cat thing going....

Loki decided to make himself at home in my guitarist's pedalboard during a break last practice.

So Cute!

I cant get my dog any were near my bass, he's been shot twice and anything that makes a loud noise freaks him out (who could blame him?!)
So Ive been chasing him around the house with my bass and a camera, no luck yet.

He's survived two gun battles. Don't give the poor thing a heart attack! Just prop it near the food. Eventually he will approach it out of hunger. Or, you could coat it in peanut butter :eyebrow:

Maine Coons are THE coolest cats ever. Ours had to be put down last year, due to some sort of kidney disease, and we miss him greatly.

Here's a couple pics of him, lounging in a bass case, and with my Mike Lull M5V:

Sorry no pics of a pet with my bass. My last per was a cat. Looks like your Maine Coon. Got him as a kitten from a friend. They were not sure of who the father was. He was the most loving and curious cat I have ever seen. Followed me anywhere I went. When I would walk by he would have to reach out and touch me with his paw. He was so cool. He disappeared one day, never came home. I am a dog guy but I so miss my little buddy:bawl:

..alot of people are wrong about those pits...i met a guy this summer that my friends hang out with, and he has like 4-5 of them living in the same building as him.very friendly dogs to say the least..:)
My dad has a brindel (spelling?) pit. His name is Poncho. He is the most loving dog ever. He thinks he is a lap dog. They did not even ever have to poty train him. He will not go in the house he goes out in the back yard where no one can see him, shy when he does his business, lol. Really smart too, he can open the slider door screen and before they changed the door handle on the front door he could open that one also! Such a cool dog!!
