So this one includes two things I didn't have before COVID hit: Logic Pro and an acoustic guitar. I've learned a little of both since last September, so I guess pandemics are good for something?

Decided to learn how to use a DAW last summer and it kicked off a bunch of song writing and recording. One good thing that came out of the apocalypse. This is my Glarry fretless conversion.

Been using soundtrap, but latency has been an issue. Most recently, I'll record live instruments to a click track in audacity and import them. It is good for midi, though. This was a midpandemic offering. Never was quite happy with the tempo.

Between work scaling up fast with reopening and a lack of staff/resources and family-member health problems, I'm still on hiatus from gigging with the band. It was easier to go into lockdown than come back out. Anyways, at least there's always a few minutes to go downstairs and let some angst out. Last week I cashed in a gift card combined with 20% off GC coupon to buy a Tascam 24sd. So these are likely the last 2 songs recorded on the much less robust Tascam DP08EX.

I did some prog stuff recently with my potato laptop (very resource-heavy project on the DAW), avoid the poor virtual drums (not a drummer). The guitarist got crazy adding interesting background takes and the bass was so fun to record specially on the whammy pedal parts, let me know what you think!
