Post your VT Bass pedal settings please!

I had a show FRI.. I used this pedal after not having used it for some time.. I really am amazed at this pedal.. I point out the obvious.. it does not INTRUDE , only enhances..

here are my settings.. :
Level 11:00
Mid 12:00
Character 10:00
Drive 11:00
Low 12:30
High 12:00...

it's quite conservative.. I find EVERYTHING I love about my Ampeg and Mesa heads are ENHANCED completely by this pedal.. nothing is lost.. there is simply more "tightness" and "presence" at this setting..

when we do a Rage Against the Machine song, I simply bump up the character to 3:00.. and I get a distorted, yet defined sound that sounds "ratty.." anyway, I forgot how great this pedal was.. I did not run it in an effects loop, either.. the CL head I use does not even have an effects loop. I was thinking it might be blasphemy to run a VT in front of an Ampeg SVT CL, but it works.. the band sounds so much better WITH this VT pedal.

Almost my exact setting. My High knob is a tiouch less than yours. Only thing is, I don't run it into a LMII, I'm going straight into a power amp.

I tried using my LMII as a power amp with this pedal and didn't really notice a difference. Could be because I keep my eq on the LMII mostly flat. I think I'll try it again and back off the highs a bit like you're saying. Who knows, it could become my new favorite setup!

Just got my VT Bass Deluxe pedal. Took me one week to ship the thing from States to Singapore, but left my cable in office and I can't get my paws on it tonight!

Anyway, subscribed to this thread. Thought I could start off with using the settings you guys shared! :)

I like a fairly 'clean', 'flat' setting. For the basses I normally play, the level is between noon and 1. All other settings are usually as follows:

Level - Noon to 1 (depending on bass)

Bass - Noon
Mid - 12 to 12:30
Treble - 10 to 12 (depending on the bass)
Character - 11:30 to 12
Drive - 9 to 10

As everyone has said, small tweaks go a LONG way, hence the close tolerances depending on basses. Unless I'm going for a very fuzzed-out sound (cranking the drive a bit), these are the ballpark settings. I've been tracking for my main band's latest record recently, and these settings into a Radial JDI, direct to the board, have been HEAVEN.

I was just wondering because I'm starting to make a small peadlboard and I was thinking is there any "correct" way of seting up the effects?

I have a

Boss TU-3
Aguilar TCL compressor
Taursu Abigar
El Grande bass fuzz
VT bass

Is there any more or less correct of setting up those effects?

Sorry for such a newb question
