Posting images from the Internet?

Solution
I do this constantly and have had no issue with the new program using either the copy/paste or drag and drop from another screen. @mongo2 you might have been trying to use a protected image or one in a format that is not or no longer supported.
I wasn't sure either, until the other day I just right clicked mouse (on pc, or how ever on Mac) over image, select copy and paste it. Seems to work.

Without knowing what OP was doing nor which site they were taking pictures from, my best guess is the image format was .webp which this site still seems to have sporadic issues with.

Well, what do you know the simple copy/paste works. I never thought to try that, so thanks to those mentioning that.

I was trying to use the insert image icon at the top of the reply box as I usually did in the old version.

This brings up another question. I wonder if all my saved images got lost in the changeover? If not, how can I access them? They don't show up like when I used the insert image icon in the old version.

BTW, I'm expecting delivery on one of the above in black this Saturday.

From what I recall in one of the upgrade posts, previously uploaded images were not carried over.

If you didn't have them saved somewhere, it seems the only option left is "seance." 🔮👻

Because they are gone. They have ceased to be. Bereft of digital life, they are deleted in peace. They have kicked the bucket, hopped the twig, bit the dust, snuffed it, loaded their last, and gone to the great recycle bin of the internet.
