Power amp to go with b7k?

So im tired of EQing my head and my pedal. It makes it so much more difficult to get the sound i want from it.

Ive been thinking and i think im just going to get a power amp. I feel like it would really simplify what im doing and be a less pain in the ass.

What Poweramp would you guys recommend? I need 500 watts at least at 4 ohms.

Nope its an ampeg solid state B500DR

EDIT: I tried something else. I connected it to the power amp input and it worked!!! It also in the Preamp out put? Im not sure why it worked in these 2 and not the effects loop return. But maybe its not supposed to work there.

Is it ok for me to connect it on the power amp input on the back of the head?

Alright sweet! i messed with the volume knob on the head and everything to see if it would effect the sound and it didnt. So My volume knob will be the level knob (volume) On my Darkglass B7K and so will my eq.

Well im pretty happy. Haha

For A future upgrade. What would be a good option as a power amp?

This thing is really heavy. Haha and it doesn't have the power ill eventually need.

Popular choices are the Crest Powerlite and Peavey DSP ones. There are lots of threads on amps for b7k.
