power conditioner and tuner

I wish more gear manufacturers would add an accessory AC outlet (or three!) to the backs of their heads, amps, and pre-amps whenever there's room! I am amazed that they don't! :hmm:
.
They were standard on old Fenders, but no more. That's because there's no way of knowing what someone might plug into it, and if the current draw of whatever that is plus the amp exceeds the rating of the power cord it's a fire hazard.

Yeah, attorneys and insurance companies prevail once again; makes you wonder how outfits like Furman have survived.

Too bad there isn't such a thing as a warning label that could declare the capacity of the amp's supply cord and the accessory outlet(s).

I have it set to a setting they actually give me in the manual. But I still can't turn it up past 12:30. I have the 810glx cab and nothing else connected. Could it be the bass? Its my friends $100 something. Mine is still at my house in another state.

Which "volume" are you turning up past 12:30, the one on the right (master) or the one on the left (input volume)?

The left side (input volume) shouldn't go over about 12:00 straight up....start with that, then turn the "boost" up to 12:00 then set your overall volume with the right-side (master) volume. That amp should get really loud without a lot of distortion. Very important to keep "input volume " (left side) at noon or under for a starter...

+1 for the Peterson StroboRack. Like everybody else has already stated, don't get a power "conditioner" make sure you get a power regulator; I'm looking into a surgeX myself, i've heard a lot of good things about them.
